“nothing special. Stop and go on.”

sheets and towels had been washed but stains and a grey colour did nothing to inspire confidence, bleach would fix it so easy. Breakfast was so minimal almost pointless.

“needs some attention”

counters and amenities were not clean--tables needed to be wiped down. bathroom tiles evidence of some mold spots. Room was right outside ice machine and laundry facilities--made it noisy. Attendants were courteous and helpful. Complimentary coffee stale and cold. I chose it for the lower price but feel that is no reason to compromise on care of room.

“Good one for the low rate”

It had free wireless internet access, free breakfast. The hotel is not great in quality, but for the low rates you will not find anything better than this

“Very Happy”

My fiance and I were very happy with this hotel. It could have used a remodel, but for what we paid for two nights it was definitley worth it, plus, the california king pillow top was a plus. overall: very comfortable.

“Hotel Review”

This Motel was downtown and a little beaten track. However the staff was extremely helpful and polite. The room was very clean. This motel is a little older and shows a bit of being worn. It was comfortable and clean.

“never return”

The place was difficult to find. Poor directions on the site. Did not seem clean - odor Very old rugs, bedding, etc. coffee maker did not work, no options of coffee or tea. There was coffee/continental(?) breakfast in lobby. I would never stay there again!

“Great bang for the buck”

My wife and I were headed home after a 6 nite stay in San Francisco when we stopped here. After paying more than double there than our room at the Budget Inn of America we were happily surprised. The room was much bigger, the bed more comfortable, TV actually had 2 to 3 times as many channels available, wi-fi that worked great, and the service was timely and friendly. We had no complaints and will recommend this Inn anytime. Sometimes you don't have to pay more to get better. Our stay proved it.

Dining

If you are traveling north we found a great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Just under 30 miles north, in Grants Pass we got breakfast at the Gold Miner's Restaurant. Food cost was comparable with anyone else, Grandma's home cooking, and the wait staff were outstanding. I don't think we went longer than 3 minutes without a walk-by to check on us. They didn't bug you unless they saw that you might need something. We found this place when heading south the previous week. My wife and I decided that if we were ever traveling thru the area again we would back-track to get our meals there.

“Don't think I would return”

The motel was in a less than desirable part of town. The room was fairly clean but didn't appear vacuumed. The price was right so it is a "room for value" question.

Area recommendations

Get closer to the freeway. This was right downtown. We had to travel about a couple of miles for food.

the ice machine was broken, the a/c left everything damp, towels were grimy looking.
