Currently they are doing construction in various areas on the property. I’m sure to make the place even more exceptional. They redoing the restaurant and several rooms so it is noise during the day

I’ve been coming to estar milla de oro 12 years. This was the worst experience ever. The manager of the hotel Ricardo charge me $300 for my family member to visit me. This hotel only cares about money. Tourist do not come to this hotel you are better going to Airbnb.

This not a 4 or 5 stars hotel. I had to ask to be moved to a new room because the tiles in the bathroom were broken. The furniture is dated. The new room was not any better but I was too tired to move again. The hoy water took like 10 minutes to warm up. There was not internet or phones lines all night during my second night. The food from room service was cold and tasteless. It didnt feel like I was in Medellin . There were only 2 colombian options in the menu.

In the heart of El Poblado. Quiet location, close to many shopping places and nice restaurants like La Cefetiere de Anita or La Provincia. Attentive and helpful staff. Nice own restaurant with a great breakfast buffet (included in the price). Would love to be back !

Ruth call the resort and front desk told her was no reservation for her, that reservation was done was pay in full and she get the front desk telling that she has no reservations or room! Thats fraud thats stealing money from people that room was pay since two weeks ago

Very bad experience!
It was a really bad experience, specially with the food, really low quality for price. They where kind enough to grant a late check out which was useless since housekeeping seem to be redecorating next door room, sleeping was imposible. Took the jotel due to prior rating, in my opinion there several other options nearby with same or lower price. By the way, they did not honor my food and drinks discount.

We found the room very clean and they kept it at the same standard throughout our 5 days stay. We tried the restaurant for dinner a couple of times, very good as well.

Hotel needs major renovation, access door cards didn’t worked most of my stay, hot water sometimes an issue. Personnel are very helpful and friendly but management needs to recognize that they need to update bathrooms and technology at some point.

The hotel was in a good area. The room was nice and spacious. We noticed that the AC in the room didn’t cool as well as the AC in the living room of our suite, but it was not bad. We did ask for towels once and they were not delivered, so asked again the next morning (not a huge deal). Breakfast was awesome! Everyone in reception is nice. I do advise that you bring or buy earplugs because you can hear any and all noises in the hallways (laughing, talking, doors closing, etc).

The property is aged and the rooms are in moderate disrepair. This would have given an ok rating but during the stay, my wife was taking a shower and there was an issue with the water. The water paused and then dirty water started coming out of the faucet. My wife got video of the water including it continuing to come out of the faucet. We called the staff and they sent a maintenance person up who looked and said it was just air in the tubes and not to worry. No one from management came up to offer apologies or to see if they could do anything to make the stay better. It just seemed like it was no big deal which to me made it a huge deal. I will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.

My AirPods Pro disappeared from my room on the second day. My wife told me after we left that a $25 also disappeared but she didn’t notice it until we arrived back home. I complained to management in the front office but got nowhere. In a true 5 star hotel this things never happen, you don’t have to put in the safe all your valuables, do we?

If you like doors slammed endlessly and no sleep
Hotel is OK but it la is the minimum measures to make it great. A door arm preventing from slamming doors would be fantastic. You hear all other rooms doors slammed throughout the. Night and making it impossible to sleep. It's a $3 resolution and would make a world of a difference

Excellent property. For Americans visiting, I often describe this property to other Americans as comparable to a Westin. The staff are friendly, accommodating (like old school hotels) and are very professional. I really enjoy staying here and have on 3 different trips.
