“Clean, convienent, and comfortable!”

Upon checking in to the Holiday Inn - Cleveland it was nice to see that the hotel was expecting us. All of our documents and keys were ready at hand and exactely as we reserved. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was as advertised and very clean. Everything in the room worked. The indoor/outdoor pool is located away from the rooms so it is opened from 5:30am to 11:00pm. This was a great way for the kids to burn off the energy they had from sitting in a car for several hours. The pool area and the water were very clean. I would stay here again when visting my relatives.

“great hotel”

It was a pleasure to spend 6 nights at the Mayfield Holiday in. My family if 4 had a very comfortable and restful stay. We did have 2 adjoining rooms due to the beds only being doubles and my son is a very restless sleeper. The restaurant on the premises was convienent and delicious with a late night menu. The bar stayed open late and Mariann, the restaurant manager, was a great host. The location had lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and only about 20 to 30 minutes to Cleveland Browns stadium, and the Rock and Roll Hall if Fame. Both were a blast for our family. We had a Birthday party planned in Saturday night in one of the ballrooms, and the hotel catered the whole thing. They also did a wonderful job with that. The food was excellent. Thanks for a great vacation!

“Very Pleasant Stay.”

I will use this Holiday Inn every time I go back to Cleveland. I have been at this hotel three times and was always extremely satisfied. I recommended it to my family/siblings who were making the trip for the same occasion as I did. We all were quite satisfied with this hotel and the amenities it provided. The staff was pleasant and very accomodating. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

“Holiday Inn Cleveland-Mayfield”

Nice hotel friendly staff. There should have been a breakfast pass with our stay. Some people got one others did not. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel.

“We'll stay here any time we're in Cleveland”

Great hospitality, restaurant, pool, exercise room. One wrinkle handled gracefully by desk clerk: through Expedia we had paid in advance for breakfast coupons but Labor Day is one of 4 days in the year the restaurant is not open for breakfast. The clerk apologized for the inconvenience, and recompensed us generously. (If you're having breakfast there, we'd recommend the huge buffet.) We'll definitely return.

I stayed here for a meeting in Cleveland- rented a car and got the hotel for much less than staying downtown. The hotel was great- quiet, comfortable, great staff. I will stay there next time I am in town.

“Highly recommended despite one poor interaction”

We stay here when in Cleveland visiting our son at Case Western even though it is not that close to the university. The hotel is very pleasant, the restaurant excellent, and the staff consistently helpful and courteous--with one exception this time. I called the hotel directly (as recommended by the manager during our last stay) and well in advance because we were staying during commencement weekend. The rates quoted to me did not include the reduced advance purchase rate. When I asked about the breakfast bundle (a good deal), I was told they did not offer it on weekends. I quit and went thru Expedia though I didn't choose the breakfast bundle thinking that would only complicate things. As it turned out, the breakfast bundle was available. Apart from this unfortunate interaction, all my other experiences at this Holiday Inn have been very pleasant and I recommend it.

“Nice surprise!”

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Location is a bit off-the-beaten-path (the area has an commercial feel). However, there is ample parking, the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful and the rooms are well kept and nicely appointed. Complimentary coffee and newspaper are a nice touch. The building is well-kept and easily accessible from the interstate (but no traffic noise or view of the freeway at all). The property is well buffered with landscaping and greenery. An on-site family-owned Italian restaurant with a bar and outside deck dining overlooking a well manicured green area. Pizzas are delicious, service can be a bit spotty. Would definitely stay again.
