“Average Hotel”

Its a good hotel for the price. I didn't liked the location, they better star looking for another and bigger spot. But if you wanna get the beach and stuff is the best place to stay.

“There are better options on the west!”

The room was very humid maybe because the leak on the bath. The service was poor. I ask for a refrigerator on my room prior to arrive to the hotel I, ask for it when I did the check in and they never bring it to the room. I also ask for a wakeup call I never received it. The restaurant / café was good.

The room was neat !! everything as promised. I would recommend it 100 %

“Convenience of Moving”

We were in Puerto Rico to move my parents to Florida. The location of this hotel was ideal for our needs. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and they were all bilingual! Our only disappointment was the swimming pool. We felt the tiles needed to be cleaned and it seemed that maybe the filtation system was not working to capacity. Otherwise, we were close to the mall, many restaurants and other businesses we needed for this trip.

Really, its not like the pictures on the web site. But is Ok if you want to stay 2 nights..no more.

“An Excellent Experience”

Holiday Inn Mayaguez is an excellent hotel. The food is great and consistent (both at breakfast and dinner). The staff is a very friendly and always willing to resolve situations. It has a location I would say that good as to visit several places outside of Mayaguez. Because of rain, I don't tried the pool, but the area is well maintained. Three days and two nights that I want to repeat.

“Not Bad in Mayaguez”

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Being a Holiday Inn, I did expect a certain level of quality and I think that was there. The entrance to the hotel could be better defined. The hotel is adjacent to a small mall which is convenient, but to enter the hotel drive, you have to drive into the shopping area and make a u-turn and then a quick right on to the hotel driveway. Our first day, we drove right past the hotel. The driveway entrance could be better lit and defined. The hotel restaurant was very decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast there every day and several of our dinners. Traveling with an elderly person, the restaurant in the hotel just made it easier and they were very attentive to her needs. The lobby is a little small with the Casino right next to it, but for those that like to gamble, it was always full and lively. There is also a pool area that is very nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel as a very decent place to stay and sleep comfortably with a location that provides easy access to many surrounding areas. It is clean and decently maintained. I would definitely go back to this hotel on my future trips to the Mayaguez/Cabo Rojo area of Puerto Rico.

Excellent hotel, the people couldn't be nicer and went out of their way during my stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
