“Ok hotel but very little to do in the area, no tennis, or other activities”

Hotel is okay, but I don't think the management is done very well. They charge you for every small item. The dinner main course that is provided is very poor generally various types of noodles, Asian/Mauritius/Morocaan. Northing to do in the evening. If you like swimming pools don't come here this pool is more for ambiance than for swimming. Received poor information from the hotel on visa arrangements, had to stay in Madagascar for 4 days to arrange a visa.

Area recommendations
West coast Flic Flack had nice beaches and more activities then the east coast. The north has a lot of activities but the beaches are not as nice as the east and the west.

“Fantastic boutique hotel”

The hotel was amazing. Clean, beautiful, great food, beautiful view of the sea, the staff extremely friendly and everything went as planned. Excellent value for money! will come back many times.

“quiet and charming hotel for famliy holiday”

We booked an surprem room with half-board for four days. waiters there gave us warm welcome. room is good and clean with a seaview. breakfast there is better than the dinner. facilities there are small size but well equipped. the swimming pool and private peach are a little smalll.but the seasight is charming. the location is a kind of difficult to find.

the east part of mauritius is more quite than the north but the cost of the hotel is a little expenxive.

“Service let down this hotel”

The hotel itself is beautiful with an 'ok' beach (Belle Mare has better beaches than this). Good watersports available and an excellent spa. however, apart from the hotel manager, the service was pretty poor e.g. having to wait 10 mins at the bar and still not receiving a menu and having to ask for one, waiters explained the dinner menu incorrectly, kept dropping things, not friendly etc. Don't expect a great variety of food - the dinner buffet was pretty limited and not much for vegetarians.

Not a great variety of food. The 'Asian' night had pasta! The only thing asian was one noodle dish and that was it. The theme the following night was mediterranean - no risotto, no pizza etc. but just pasta again. The themes were pretty irrelevant because you had pretty much the same thing every day.

“Paradise found”

This hotel is wonderful. We had a beachfront deluxe room, on a half board basis, which was spacious, comfortable and looking straight onto the beach. The food was good quality and there was plenty of it. The staff were great. The beach and swimming pool is brilliant . The sea is also very warm and good for swimming. You can't go wrong with this hotel. The only downside is that drinks and food are fairly pricey, so perhaps all inclusive would be a better deal. Unless you have a rental car you will be a bit stuck in, but frankly why would you want to leave?

“Strandhotell”

Det mesta var bra men en kringliggande byggnation av nya hotell ej så trevligt och inget omkringliggande by eller samhälle fanns inte .

“Hotel La Palmeraie - Mauritius”

Hotel molto ben curato, con personale disponibile e gentile. Adatto a vacanze di riposo e relax. Buffet curato, anche se non abbondante come scelta. Sono rimasto molto contento della scelta.

“hotel molto tranquillo e rilassante”

Hotel buono, ma secondo me troppo isolato dal contesto cittadino, non ci sono esercizi commerciali nei dintorni, quei pochi che ci sono bisogna prendere il taxi per arrivarci, cosi come per arrivare e tornare dall'aeroporto. Cibi discreti, cena a buffet con buffet molto limitato.

“Palmeraie hôtel de charme”

Petit hôtel magnifique avec personnel très attentionné, service personnalisé. Double exposition de la plage : Vent côté Est, propice pour le kytesurf et la planche à voile, côté sud : grande plage de belle mare pour la baignade. Ambiance feutrée dans le bar entouré par une magnifique piscine. Excellente cuisine et plats variés : indiens, mauriciens .... (arômes et épices).

“Le Palmeraie Hotel”

Abbiamo soggiornato prima settimana di giugno. Un hotel con buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il Hotel è piccolo ma ha la spiaggia molto bella. La prima colazione molto ben fornita. Per la cena organizza a tema e quasi sempre a buffet, direi un pò calente per la varietà di menù. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto 2-3 gg di fortissimo vento e ci siamo spostati alla parte ovest dell'isola. Non sapevamo ma il periodo invernale il vento è quasi sempre da est. Consiglio ai viaggiatori di noleggiare l'auto ed è indispensabile il navigatore perchè non ci sono le indicazioni sulla strada e molto facile perdersi. Boat House del hotel organizza dei buon tour di catamalano.
