“Top Hotel”

Excellent hotel. Chambre spacieuse. Personnel charmant. belle plage. Buffet excellent aussi bien le matin que le soir. A recommander.

“Tolles Hotel mit super Service (v.a. für Golfer)”

Das Constance Belle Mare liegt direkt am Meer und verfügt über sehr schöne Zimmer (alle mit Meerblick). Der Service war absolut super und man hat sich um alles gekümmert. Auch die Zimmer waren Top (EG, 1. OG, 2.OG; wir hatten EG mit kleiner Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Meer). Wir haben Halbpension gebucht, was sehr zu empfehlen ist, da es in der Umgebung kaum Alternativen zu den (sehr guten) 3 Restaurants des Hotels gibt. Es gibt zwei Spas und ein kleines Fitnessstudio. Die Hotelbar ist sehr schön und dort ist Abends bis etwa 24 Uhr auch was los (bekommt man auf dem Zimmern nichts von mit). Es gibt 2 wunderschöne Golfplätze am Hotel, die Greenfreefrei bespielt werden können. Die Lage des Hotels im Osten der Insel ist schön (Belle Mare ist einer der schönsten Strände der Insel), hier gibt es aber wenig zu sehen (kein größerer Ort in der Nähe o.ä.). Für Leute die (zu Fuß) etwas Trubel suchen ist die Lage nichts. Die Insel ist aber ohnehin eher für Erholungssuchende geeignet, die auf "City Feeling" verzichten möchten. Wir haben viele Touren unternehmen, die wir über das Hotel organiseren konnten (wahrscheinlich etwas teurer als selbst organisert, aber absolut stressfrei). Bei einigen Touren (u.a. Hochseefischen) haben wir uns mit anderen Gästen zusammengeschlossen, um etwas zu sparen. So haben wir zudem einige richtig nette Leute kennengelernt. Wir (Paar, Mitte 30) waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel!

Die Lage des Hotels im Osten der Insel ist schön (Belle Mare ist einer der schönsten Strände der Insel), hier gibt es aber wenig zu sehen (kein größerer Ort in der Nähe o.ä.). Für Leute die (zu Fuß) etwas Trubel suchen ist die Lage nichts. Die Insel ist aber ohnehin eher für Erholungssuchende geeignet, die auf "City Feeling" verzichten möchten. Der Osten ist wohl etwas windiger als der Westen der Insel. Bei Temperaturen von 25+ Grad, empfanden wir dies aber als ganz angenehm. Entfernung Flughafen: ca. 1 Std 20 Min Entfernung: Port Louis: ca. 45 Min

When to go

Wir waren die ersten beiden September Wochen auf Mauritius. Wetter: Meist >25+ Grad, stets eine leichte Brise (am Wasser); Wasser >24+ Grad. Nur an einem Tag hat es heftig geregnet, da haben wir einen Spa-Tag eingelegt.

Getting there

Wir sind mit Air Mauritius über Paris geflogen. Die Flüge waren gut getimet. Ankunft morgens um 7:00 Uhr auf Mauritius, Abflug Abends um 22:00 ab Mauritius. So hatten wir zwei volle Tage bei An- und Abreise auf der Insel und sind jeweils über Nacht geflogen, kamen also ausgeruht an. Bei Check in(out kein Problem.
