“close to airport”
we arrived late to Maui, so this was a great inexpensive hotel to stay in for one night. We had to pay for parking in th hotel lot, but it was not too expensive. Breakfast we decent, a good start to the next day.
“Easy stop close to Airport...”
Great breakfast included and basic good place for quick overnight stay when you don't feel like driving after a long flight.
“Seaside Hotel on Maui and on the beach is no Taj Mahal, but good enough!”
The Seaside Hotel is definitely not a Taj Mahal hotel… but by booking this true “seaside” hotel on Expedia saved enough dough for some higher priced meals during the three day stay on Maui. While doing business on Maui (just a little) I and my 22 year old son found time to chill out and play golf for a few days. The room was small; it had two full beds, a desk, dresser, TV, open closet area and a basic bathroom. As small as this was, we didn’t have much privacy, but that’s no big deal for a father and son (work/vacation) time together. Even though my budget could afford more, this little room on the ocean cost me very little. The cost for all three nights was about the same as a one night stay at the Marriott, which we stayed at on Oahu for three days before. I don’t think my wife would appreciate the Seaside like my son and I did, but for us, the Seaside Hotel was very quiet and the grounds were clean. The beds were a soft and springy, but clean. We sacrificed not opting for a larger room, but chose the smaller room adjacent to the beach and the pool. The grass area and the pool area were spacious enough, as there were not a lot of people staying at the hotel. The room’s mini fridge, perfect to chill several evening brews; what more could a 22 year old want… slicing pineapples and Mangos and drinking Corona in front of the ocean… ah Paradise, what more could one ask for? I must say that the staff was very helpful and friendly, as good as any Marriott.
“You get what you pay for.”
This hotel was not as good as I expected it to be, but it was very cheap, clean for the most part, and acceptable. This is the type of place you stay to sleep, but don't want to hang out at.
“Good budget hotel”
Good budget hotel -Choice of 3 items for included breakfast - Quick service for travelers in a hurry- Wouldn't recomend crab cakes at Coconut Grill restaurant - mostly breading and very little crab
“location and excellent staff”
ive been going to the maui seaside for 22 years and i always know that the staff will always have aloha spirit during my stay the people who work their from front desk to matanence are always happy to talk story with you we stay in kaanapali 3 times a year but like to stop at the seaside for a couple days before great staff and management !!
“Supplementary”
The hotel was perfect for us. A very reasonable price. Excellent complimentary breakfast. I could not get on line with the internet. That was OK since it cost $8.95 per day. I just waited till we got to our condo. View of Maui Harbor was nice. Close to wharfs, that view was not so pretty till a cruise ship came in. People were very friendly, especially front staff and waiters in restaurant. Aloha.
“Great and neat the airport and downtown,”
More business than resort.
“Ocean view”
Could walk out to the ocean
“Good clean hotel on Maui cheap.”
This hotel was perfect for a late night arrival before checking into our timeshare in Kahana. Room came with free breakfast. Room was clean with two beds.
