We spent 4 nights here as part of our honeymoon. Right from the start the service was excellent, receiving a complimentary upgrade was fantastic, the room was amazing, well maintained and with an excellent view of the ocean.
The hotel had a range of eatery options including poolside wood oven with daily drinks specials. The hotel also ran a number of different activities on daily basis which we took part in. All of these were run efficiently and were most enjoyable.
All staff were very friendly and personable. They were always available to tend with any requests and ensured that these were completed quickly.
We found the hotel extremely relaxing and was the highlight of our honeymoon to the Hawaiian islands. We could not fault anything with this hotel and we are already planning our return trip for our wedding anniversary!
The location of this facility is perfect. It's a short 30 second walk across the grounds to the bordering ocean, but with plenty of shaded grass to sit on if you don't like the beach.
The Castaway Cafe is a real plus as the food is great and it's so very convenient.
Several pools for the kids or a getaway for the adults.
All-in-all I think it is my favorite spot on Maui.
I very much felt the comforts of home during my stay. Excellent and hospitable staff. I loved my kitchenette it is an absolute must. A hospitality room was also available and offered to us due to our late flight out. We checked out and were still able to use all facilities, beach, pool, etc. after use of the amenities we were offered a hospitality room to shower and change to be fresh for our flight out. Wonderful service!! Will stay again for sure.
Great way to end the day. Lots of actives. I made the mistake of not noticing that my reservation was for 1 person, so when I checked out there was a surprise charge of $50. Just double check before you book. If I had known how beautiful and how many activities there were we would have stayed one more day.
Beautiful resort hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our 7 day, 6 night stay at the Westin Resort while touring the island. At our ages, mid and late sixties, we skipped the drive to Hana in favor of the north shore drive from the Westin to north and east and a circle around back to our resort. On this 3 hour+ drive there were enough scenic views and one lane driving on the edge of the mountain to entertain the two of us. Many great beaches close to the Westin. We also enjoyed the many restaurants within walking distance at and close to the Westin. Even the drive from the airport is very scenic.
Stayed at the Sheraton with my girlfriend for 6 nights. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. We only ate the bars poolside during the day, but the food was outstanding. The location is perfect with decent snorkeling available right in front of the hotel at Black Rock. Famous Ka'anapali beach was also a plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for any occasion. I would stay here again.
