Very noisy

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Pros: Price
Cons: The breakfast was poor. Pastries were hard and eggs were cold.
Location: Beach
The room was adequate for the price. However the rooms all face the parking lot and you not only hear everyone coming and going, you hear the people above you too. It's no place to stay if you want a good nights sleep.

The hotel was extremly noisy. I felt like I was living in the parking lot. It is right off the highway and I did not feel very safe. The hotel was open so anybody can just walk up to the door or the soda machine. You could hear the people walking in the room above you. The staff was so not friendly. When we asked for more towels the front desk handed them to us and asked us to put the wet towels outside our door. The cleaning service started at like 7:30 in the morning. The rooms were ok but they didn't feel very clean. The lighting was terrible.

Very clean, smelled nice... Short drive to most places. Close to Jones Beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again. :)

Convenient Location

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: Pool, Close to Food/Shopping, Waffles for Breakfast!
We live in East Hampton, NY and didn't want to drive two hours to JFK the morning of our flight, so we stayed at this great little hotel, as a go-between. The rooms were comfortable - we had two queen beds plus a pullout couch, and the bathroom had been updated. The hotel is very close to Sunrise Mall, so there's a plethora of choices regarding food and/or shopping. The free breakfast included 'make your own waffles' and the pool was just great for the kids - would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Posted 31-May-2014
Pros: I liked that it was clean, good location and reasonably priced
We were only three miles from my sisters house which made it very convenient. Loved the fact we were surprised with new mattresses on the second day we were there. I loved that there was a few shopping centers very close by with stores that I love.

Good value for the money

Posted 09-May-2014
Pros: It was exceptually clean and breakfast was very satisfying.
Cons: Non skid bathroom floors would be a great safety improvement.
Location: Was not a frivolous trip.
We had a handicapped room, after showering, the floor was wet from the water and the floor was especially slippery. Try to get a room that is not on Sunrise Hgwy, the traffic noise can be disturbing.

Cons: Breakfast -- jelly packets were dried out.
Nice hotel. We have stayed there before. Convenient location, as we have family in the area. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is friendly.

Fits the bill!

Hotel was as advertised, rooms were small but clean and neat. Breakfast included cereal, make-your-own-waffles, scrambled eggs (which were actually good!) assorted juices, bread and rolls and yogurt. Good value for the price.
