My wife and I stopped off for one night at this hotel as the first destination on a tour around Provence and Languedoc-Roussillon in early September. As we had flown into Marseilles we chose it due to its closeness to the airport and to the picturesque part of Martigues. For a hotel of this type (budget, no-frills) we found it excellent in every respect - well furnished clean room,friendly staff, free parking and reasonable cost. The self-service breakfast was very good value for the choices offered. We would certainly recommend it highly in this category.
Very bad location. Away from everything. For Americans, like a really bad "motel 6". The reception was in the restaurant, and there was no one else there, except the girl who took care of us. Our room was in the back, by some woods, on the first floor, and we had to carry the bags all the way there, up the stairs, etc, as the cars did not go in the back. Not at all what we had seen on some comments. They also said they were booked full and we left the next day, with no other cars there, except a couple that were there before. Lost a lot of money, as we decided to get other accomodations. Did not seem safe. Expedia should check these places out more carefully

The room was ok, clean and comfortable, perfect for our one night stay as we were passing through. The breakfast included cereal, juice, tea/coffee, fresh breads, fruit, jam, cheese, yogurt, milk and pastries. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Very happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel rooms are very small and would not accommodate 3ppl which we org booked for, our keys to our rooms deactivated nearly everyday and we were told on the third that we would have to change rooms as they had made a mistake and only booked us in to 1 of our rooms for 3 days instead of 7. We had to ask for towels everyday and the person who first greeted us when we arrived wasn't very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others families of more than 2ppl and would advise Car hire as it is quite out the way and I never seen a single bus or taxi near the hotel for the whole trip. This hotel would be good for a young couple or a group of friends but not a family.
