I had a great experience at this hotel. It is in a perfect location, and the staff is very accommodating and willing to give directions or suggestions. I had a great experience here and definitely recommend it
The Sofitel doesn't dissapoint in a luxury hotel. The view of the Port is spectacular and within easy walking distance. Equally, the beach is just a few blocks the other direction. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever seen, and with the view of the port its simply a wonderful experiance. The hotel staff was great for the pool side service; something that could be easily remedied with a little coach. All-in-all, a superb experiance
"Great location; near Vieux Port , Gare St Charles"
We only had a weekend to see Marseille, but the location was walking distance from the Vieux Port,
the Muceum, the shops , the quartier Le Panier, it was very convenient. The Hotel has a small restaurant bar
the food is very nice , the employees at the reception desk: Laura, Sebastien, Frankie were extremely helpful
so was Ali the security person for the evening , he will direct you exactly were you want to go.

The hotel is at a reasonable distance to the old port and the corniche.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet.
Restaurant offers are superb.
I can't say anything about the pool since December is not the time to try it..
