Hotel in marseille

More attention should be given to cleanliness in the bathroom; filthy at the outside bottom edges of the bathtub and the tiles on the walls have Mildew in several places, grout needs cleaning. For a place to sleep, ok.

Marseille

Posted 28-Sep-2013
We spend 4 nights in Marseille. It was the worst city of our vacations. Nice or Monte Carlo are way more beautiful and much more safer than Marseille. We traveled from Marseille to Nice and Monte Carlo, and we totally recommend not to stay in Marseille. The streets of the city were always dirty. You can't walk without people trying to pickpocket you or looking at you in a bad way. There is no variety of food, almost all of the restaurants sell the same kind of food and at a very expensive price. Avoid this city and travel to Nice, Monaco or Cannes, they are the opposite of Marseille. But if you really want to visit Marseille, the Premiere Classe Marseille Centre is a good hotel.

Marseille 3 day stopover

Posted 25-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
Was a nice hotel, 20min walk to the marina and 30min walk from the train station. Nice little supermarket 100m away. Worth staying there. Clean and comfortable!

Just okay

The hotel was very basic, but fine. Fairly clean. Nothing spectacular, but close enough to get walk to everywhere in town. Do not do the breakfast!! For 5 euros a day you can go to any nearby cafe and get a much better deal! Coffee was okay, orange juice was always out, all they serve for food is breads (no croissants) cereal, and yogurt. No meats. No cheeses. In comparison to all other hotel breakfasts, this one was the worst and most expensive.

budget stay within shopping belt

Posted 16-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
Quite a distance from the TGV station and can be difficult to access with bulky luggages because of the sloppy terrain. Otherwise location very close to shopping areas selling branded items and Galeries Lafaye. Vieux port 15 to 20mins by foot. Male staff at reception professional, courteous, and helpful - accommodated immediate change of room when informed that aircon in room was not working. Room spacious and the availability of a bathtub scored bonus points as I did not expect the weather in July to be that hot!

Nice option in Marseille

Posted 16-May-2013 on Hotels.com
Second stay in this place. Only negative is the breakfast...very few options for the 4.90 Euro per person cost. Apart from that, I totally recomend this place, the location is great and staff very nice and helpful.
