Great place to stay! Beautiful property with some amazing views. Close enough to downtown with a 10-15min walk and lots of restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!

The view was excellent. The room was light and airy. Everything about the room was marvelous. Gauzy curtains and white features made the room very pleasant. The shower and the tub were great and had excellent water pressure. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. A perfect two night stay

This hotel is all about the location and view, which can’t be beat at this price point. The restaurant is also lovely, and the staff lovely and helpful.

Proximity to the beach, perfect; easy walk into town and ideal location for starting the hike/walk to the Calanques. Room was perfect, corridors are in need of some TLC.

Room was very clean, but the balcony and toiletries had not been fully cleaned or re-stocked. The view from the room and the front of the hotel was stunning. Breakfast average. It’s advertised as having a private beach which is not the case and sun loungers are an additional cost.

Perfect, peaceful beachy hotel in an excellent location. Comfortable bed and linens and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. We extended our stay here because it was so relaxing and restorative after bad, noisy sleeps elsewhere.

A bit disappointed.
Location is great and Cassis is a wonderful city. I would likely stay at this hotel again if nothing else in the area was available. Website says there is a pool and private beach. The pool is only available for one room that it comes with, it is not for the whole resort. The private beach is available only for payment, it is not included in your stay. I found these two items to be misleading on the website.

This hotel is all about the view, which is stunning. It’s such a wonderful spot, smack dab on the sea, which is magical. Loved my room. It was charming and sweet but could use a freshening up (for the price). The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. The location is ideal.

The room ( 3 floor ) at night , smelling kitchen Grill food , due a knowing problem from the hotel staff , ( the exhausting kitchen pipe versus the room air conditioner air intake . ( they said that they will fix it ) You must have to ask to shut off the kitchen exhaust to stop the kitchen smelling or change the room .

Disappointing stay in Cassis
Our check-in experience was not as we would have expected, the staff member having a 'take-it-or-leave-it' attitude. We enquired about the hotel pool (shown in their photos) to be told that access was restricted for the users of the spa - however, we could have access for EUR20 per person per day. We were also advised that we could not eat in the restaurant that night as it was full - there was not attempt to try and fit us in - bearing in mind that it opened at 730pm until late. This was very disappointing and immediately took the shine off the stay. The bedroom was smaller than expected and the bathroom had a shower that was too powerful for the drain so water overflowed onto the floor. The balcony size was disappointing. Room cleaning was very thorough. Breakfast service was hap-hazard and not well managed, however we had wonderful experiences in the restaurant on two nights - the food being superb. The hotel is a short walk over the hill from Cassis centre.

Good location but over priced.
Location was great but the hotel was over priced. The breakfast lady had to do all the work by herself so we had to wait for long time to get refill of food or for a clean table. Receptionists were not very helpful. You need to reserve a car park before you arrive otherwise you have to park the car in the public car park which is at the end of the street.

The picture on the advertisement is nothing close to what you actually get for a room. Europe is known for small accomodations. this was the smallest we have encountered. and our A/C was not working in a time that was very hot and humid. After much effort they finally located a portable A/C unit that made it bearable but were not willing to offer any sort of apology.

Heavenly view at a glance!
Lovely seaside hotel overlooking an picturesque cove in Cassis, France. The view is the best part if this hotel... heavenly! Although the exterior of the hotel needs a bit of refurbishment, the deck overlooking the bay is nicely decorated and furnished as are the rooms. Service is best on the deck (cannot attest to the dining) and the people are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this location not only for it's views but it's proximity to the actual village.... very walkable, yet removed from the hubbub and crowdedness of the town itself. Wifi in the rooms is however, not 100% reliable. Yet good connections in the common areas and on the decking.

Lovely Cassis
We loved everything about this hotel! Location is perfect, right across from an amazing beach, and far enough away from the noise of the port, yet close enough to walk in for dinner or shopping. Gorgeous view of the sea! I highly recommend this lovely hotel

We had a room facing the sea,it was amazing. Cassis is a gem and the hotel is only a short stroll from the main harbour. Ample parking in the public car park just down the hill.

Cute, clean, comfortable. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. We had a water side view - we highly recommend that - it is spectacular. The breakfast / bar was well maintained and the breakfast patio has the same incredible view.

Small room but great find
Cassis is a great little town and Mahogany is on the quiet side of the bay but only 10 mins walk to the main town and harbor. the beach is a stone beach but still a great spot, the hotel was pretty empty when we stayed but has a great bar and terrace which i am sure will be lively in full season. The room was a bit small but not unbearable however falling to sleep with the veranda doors open listening to the waves on the shore made up for everything!

Great location but you get what you pay for
I often read reviews that seem unfair as to the standard they're staying/rate paid in so I don't want to fall foul of the same mistake, but there were a some downsides to this hotel. The floorboards in our room had buckled, and not just a little bit, you felt like you were waking over mounds! Also the shower was impossible to use because the water temperature tap kept moving to 40 degrees automatically meaning you had to A) have someone hold the water temperature tap while you showered or B) hold the tap yourself while you ran a bath. BUT, and it's a big but, I wouldn't hesitate recommending the hotel for it's price relative to other French Riviera hotels. The location in Cassis is amazing, Cassis is amazing, the staff are great and having a balcony overlooking such an a amazing vista outweighs any downsides to the hotel. Cassis is in my opinion the nicest part of the French Riviera, and this is a great hotel to stay in.

Buchen sie lieber ein anderes Hotel....
Wir haben ein Garden View 3-Bettzimmer gebucht. Bei unserer Ankunft warteten wir erstmal lange bis zum CheckIn. Die Dame war nicht wirklich freundlich und sehr gestresst. Sie sagte dann, dass das die Tür beim 3-Bettzimmer kaputt sei, sie seien sehr gut ausgebucht, hätten aber noch ein Zimmer mit Meersicht frei, was auch eine höhere Kategorie ist. Wir nahmen das Zimmer mit Freude an. Jedoch stellte sich heraus, dass in diesem Zimmer die Klimaanlage defekt war. Ebenso war der Safe kaputt und die Spülung. Die Balkontür war auch nicht verschliessbar. Als wir die Reception damit konfrontierten, tat man künstlich überrascht, dass wir nicht über die defekte Klimaanlage informiert wurden. Es machte den Eindruck, als stimme die Geschichte mit dem anderen Zimmer gar nicht und jemand anderes wurde wegen der defekten Klimaanlage in unser Zimmer verlegt. Man gab sich dann am Folgetag absolut keine Mühe, die Klimaanlage zu reparieren. Wir hörten einfach nichts. Man hat den Eindruck, dass es schon lange so ist und das ganze System hat. Die Bar war ebenfalls chaotisch, unsauber und schlecht bedient. Insgesamt ist es das Geld absolut nicht wert. Nebenbei hörten wir bei verschieden Leuten, welche das Check In machten, dass auch gewisse Sachen nicht sind, wie sie sein sollten. Beispielsweise gebuchter Privatparkplatz, welcher nicht verfügbar war. Also Finger weg... anderes Hotel.

Cet hôtel n’est idéal UNIQUEMENT que pour sa vue et sa décoration ! Le reste des prestations laissent à désirer pour un 3 étoiles : pas de mini bar, pas de piscine, petit déjeuner hors de prix (19€/ personne) alors que des bars / restaus le proposent à moitié prix à 5 min de marche.. restau de l’hôtel hors de prix également (30€ minimum pour un plat). Ce qui explique la terrasse vide… A 280€ la chambre / nuitée, la vue et la décoration se payent très chères … Le personnel est poli / accueillant juste ce qu’il faut . Tout est achetable / payable dans cet hôtel, une boutique dans l’entrée avec des foutas à 30€ et robes à 60€ l’unité.. La cerise sur la gâteau revient à cette pataugeoire qui normalement se paye 20€, pour se tremper les pieds après avoir déboursé 876€ le séjour de 3 nuitées, cela fait doucement rigoler ! Le best western hôtel un peu avant dans la rue est donc à tester pour notre part..

Un hotel bien placé et fort agréable. Le personnel est sympathique. Le restaurant est agréable en revanche les prix sont démesurés et mieux vaut aller dans le centre. C'est dommage.
