“Riad Laila - beautiful”

Highly recommend this riad. Excellent welcome and beautiful courtyard. Really good breakfast too. It was quite a way from Jeema el Fna square but it made you appreciate the riad even more when you finally found it!

Getting around
You have to be really careful around the Medina as there are bikes and motorbikes whizzing around everywhere - keep to the side. Taxis are easy to pick up but be careful either haggle a price you are prepared to pay first or make sure the drivers turns on the meter.
Must see
Gardens Majorelle - planted by Jacques Majorelle (of majorelle blue) and then owned by Yves St Laurent. Stunning shady garden full of sculptural plants. Get to it using the Marraksh tourist bus.

“Fantastic!!”

We had a great time at this riad. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. Perfect place to stay!

“A haven of peace and quiet”

Lovely Riad very central, close to the Spice Market, the big square, the museum and the madrassa. We ate in the Riad several evenings and the food was excellent.

“riad charik en plein dans la médina, gens préciseux s'abstenir”

le riad est de toute beauté! quand nous disons gens précieux s'abstenir, c'est uniquement parce que les environs du riad font un peu peur (lieu non touristique donc charme absolu pour nous!!). l'accueil fut très très agréable. Notre séjour c'est très bien passer grâce aux conseils (entre autre) de notre hôte. Seul hic (mais ça c'est pas de la faute du riad), nous avons séjourner avec des "beaufs" belges qui étaient là bien évidement pour faire la fête (le côté jet set de Marrakech malheureusement...) et non pour profiter du calme du riad. Nous étions réveiller tout les matins vers 6h00 par ses bandes de jeunes prétentieux n'ayant aucune éducation...mais bon encore une fois, ce n'est pas de la faute du riad... à conseiller tout de même en espérant que vous ailler plus de chance avec le voisinage!!!

Area recommendations
le haut atlas...et la campagne, parce que la ville en elle même se visite en deux ou trois jours....et puis c'est surtout très très très pollué...

“Riad ENNAFOURA en plein souk ! Royal !”

Le Riad ENNAFOURA est situé en plein souk. Havre de calme après une ballade dans les ruelles animées et agitées de Marrakech. Acceuil et attention sympatique de Karima. Terrasse agréable pour le petit déjeuner, poste PC avec accès internet, télévision dans le salon, bref, tout à portée de main.

Area recommendations
Place JAMAA EL FNA en soirée pour son animation et les restaurants mobiles qui proposent des spécialités. Repérer les restaurants ou dinent les marocains... et éviter ceux remplis de touristes rabattus par des "commerciaux" actifs.
Traveller's tip
Prendre de serieux points de repères lors d'une sortie dans le souk pour valider l'itinéraire de retour, sinon gare ! On se perd rapidement dans le souk et les jeunes marocains, avides de dirham, s'empressent de vous faire tourner en rond... Et négocier.... tout !

“Bonne adresse pour découvrir un RIAD authentique”

Ce riad semble authentique et a beaucoup de charme, les chambres sont décorées avec goût, le confort est aussi au rendez-vous et les lits confortables. L'accueil est discret et le petit déjeuner soigné.

Traveller's tip
Le centre de Marrakech est assez éloigné, alors n'oubliez pas votre plan qui vous permettra peut-être de vous repérer... Vrai labyrinthe que cette cité... Attention quand vous voyez KERB au dessus de certaines entrées de ruelles, cela veut dire IMPASSE... nous avons beaucoup marché mais avec plaisir de découvrir à chaque coin de rue, un nouveau décor. La visite du musée est à faire, le palais Bahia et une ballade dans la palmeraie très reposante de l'agitation de la ville.

“sejour un peu mouvementé”

Nous sommes arrivés un dimanche et l'agence où vous devez vous rendre pour connaitre votre riad était fermée; vous devez appeler la personne qui cependant arrive plutôt vite. Dans le riad, attention, les portes des chambres ne ferment pas à clé et aucun coffre n'est à disposition. Et malgré le fait que l'on vous dise qu'il n'y a pas de problème, nous nous sommes fait voler de l'argent. On nous a répondu que ce n'était pas possible... Même si on nous a remboursé une partie de cette somme, cela gâche évidemment les vacances! De plus les tarifs des services proposés par l'hôtel sont supérieurs à ceux que vous trouvez par vous-même dans la ville. Sinon l'hôtel Ennafoura est bien situé et les chambres agréables.
