Situated in the heart of the historical Marrakech medina just 10 minutes from the main square of Jemaa el Fna, Riad Dar Zaman is a traditional 18th century Moroccan home that has been refurbished to create a luxurious guest house. Retaining many of its original features, the riad is tastefully furnished with rich local fabrics, African artwork, soft Berber rugs, pots and beautiful handmade furniture. Dar Zaman, meaning “old house” in Arabic, is available by room and is also perfect for families and small groups renting the whole riad as a quality private retreat.
The riad is a sanctuary from the bustle of the medina, with log fires in the salons for the winter months, and a sun terrace and deliciously cool dipping pool in the courtyard for the summer months.
