Excellent Stay at the Mosaic

Posted 14-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
Excellent Hotel, located in the Marrakech countryside, 3-4 miles outside the city. Quite and stylish location compared to the previous few days in the city. Hotel is small at only 28 rooms, which suited us perfectly, service, and food both top notch. Spa again excellent. My only small gripe was the gym was small and "unloved"...

Fourth stay at this hotel in the last 2 years...

Posted 08-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything.....peaceful, true 5* service
Cons: can't think of anything
Location: The hotel has its own gardens and is out of the city so quiet. If you want to go sight seeing its easy to arrange a personal guide
Superb quiet location with excellent rooms and service. Restaurant food choice is varied with lovely fish dishes. Staff could not be more helpful. Pick up from the airport is free of charge. Recommend the return journey in the hotels range rover!

Good, possibly very good

We stayed here for 5 nights as a couple. We usually stay in hotels of this standard. Overall the hotel is a good hotel with well kept rooms, grounds and communal areas and there is a good breakfast and a good (but limited) supper menu. Bear in mind it is a 100MAD taxi too and from the old city and takes about 20 minutes - drivers often get lost on the way back too so make a note of the route. If you want space and quiet and you are happy with the taxi duration and fares then stay here as it is comfortable and although not absolutely top-notch it is certainly good. There were a few service errors (booked taxi arriving 40 minutes late, another an hour early, overchanging on the bill that the hotel identified and rectified immediately, and a couple other really trivial things). These should not put you off staying here. If you like running the surrounding area is great for it too.

Perfect honeymoon location

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: Staff, pool area, room and food; everything was perfect!
Cons: The only minor thing were the few ants in our room but considering we were in a garden pavilion, this would have been hard to avoid.
Location: Quiet and peaceful location but easy access to the medina via the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus meant shopping was a necessity!
We chose the Mosaic for our honeymoon as it was slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the medina, but close enough to get there when we wished. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious glass of fresh orange juice and we're escorted to our beautiful room. The hotel amenities are first class and the staff, so incredibly helpful. We can't wait to return soon for more relaxation and indulgence!

Lovely boutique hotel

Posted 28-Mar-2014
This is a small hotel, peacefully tucked away in the Palmeraie. By the end of the first day, most of the staff knew our name. The second morning, room service remembered how we wanted our coffee. After having requested it once, gluten free bread appeared at the table automatically. Breakfast, pool service and especially the lunch restaurant where all of a good quality, with lunch with its barbecue and salads particularly recommended. The only negative would be dinner. As is often the case with small hotels, after some guests have gone out to restaurants, there is not much of a crowd left to eat at the hotel. Dinner was perfectly adequate, but nothing more and not good value for money. However, there are plenty of good restaurants a 15-minute drive away in Marrakech. Taxis can be ordered at relatively short notice. This is a great hotel for a quiet, peaceful holiday. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel away from bustle

All good, nice beds and beautiful surroundings. Restaurant also nice. Staff excellent. Only let down was the constant Smell of drains from toilet in room which we understood affected all rooms as scented candle was the only remedy provided and as soon as it ran out the smell returned so kept having to ask for new one.

Delightful resort hotel, stylish and comfortable!

Posted 21-Oct-2013
Pros: Stylish, comfortable, pleasant, good standards, very good staff (particularly Ms Touria at Reception), lovely gardens, great swimming pool
Cons: Transport/shuttle bus to town should be more frequent/regular, drop off at Medina and/ or other points as individually required by guests.
Location: The hotel is located quite far from the historic centre i.e. approx.10km, 20 min by taxi. No major attractions near by.
The Mosaic Palais Aziza is a delightful hotel in morroccan style, very comfortable, lovely gardens and pools, good service and restaurant, in the outskirts of Marrakech approx. 10km from the historic centre and Medina.
