I have pictures to illustrate the very bad condition of this property. Upon check out i was told that the prpery will be closed for renovation as of that day. I proceeded to ask for a refund to all or some of money i paid them. They were too unhelpful.

If you have US standards of a sparkling new property, with everything perfectly pristine, you'll be disappointed. This 20 year old property is a bit worn, but still very clean! There were annoyances, like being checked into a dirty room, the room service card not in the room (and with a limited menu), needing to pay for room service with cash, the gift shop not being open to buy water....but staff were professional and handled business. Don't go expecting a US experience where staff jump to attention and anticipate your needs! Staff were friendly and warm, and did their job. Breakfast buffet was solid, with much variety, promptly refilled, and a good mix of traditional fare with things like omlets. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Downsides: in a tourist hotel zone around 30 minute walk from the downtown markets. Convenient to the train station. Massive Carrefour supermarket 20 min walk, corner store maybe 10 minute walk away. Reasonable value for money, given the ridiculous prices for hotel rooms in the market area. Likely would stay again.

253 rooms and 13 parking spots. Do the math. They have an onsite parking lot that they refuse to open. Reception is slow and unfriendly. Car staff is mostly rude, except for 1 staff member who was actually helpful. Restaurant staff also unfriendly. Property is in need of updates and is heavily showing eear and tear. Room contained many items from precious guests.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Services good, location perfect. The hotel is clean but can be updated. My main concern was the aromatic smell as I found it too overwhelming for my senses. (I understand this is cultural and I am sensitive to strong smells as it gives me headaches; so take review with awareness). Overall my stay was pleasant and safe.

Hotel is very misleading. They say it’s a 5* however I would never give it that rating. Staff are very much useless and unhelpful. Rooms are very dirty. Breakfast is a joke upon what they offer. Overall very bad experience...to much was wrong

The design of the hotel, the location and the friendly and highly professional staff were a delight. The room was spacious, spotless and the terrasse view was fantastic. I just regret more family friendly entertainment at night such as shows or kids disco. The singer was outstanding at night in the a la carte area.

Our stay at the hotel was nice, the hotel is clean and well maintained. However the staff just barge into the room without knocking. There needs to be more privacy for the guests.

Can't fault this hotel. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Lovely pool area with very attentive attendant - nothing was too much trouble. We read some negative reviews of this hotel beforehand, but honestly don't know where they came from - these negative views were not our experience at all. Very pleased

Breakfast is not 5 star standard, yogurt glasses had lipstick mark and found a hair in the fruit. Fresh fruit is very limited and cakes are not refilled. Need to offer tea n coffee table service. No do not disturb signs for the door, interrupted twice on a morning and then we returned in evening to find room had not been made up. Informed front desk and Amal arranged for fresh towels n bedsheets to be changed but we had to wait in lounge over an hour with no compensation offered. Complimentary drinks would have been appreciated. Balcony had a table but no chairs to sit outside. Room was clean and had a good shower and provided with bathrobes and a good range of toiletries.location is brilliant for food and medina. Walking distance to train station.

Not a good stay - sort out the music
Whilst the hotel is well situated, has a good range of facilities and has attractive rooms, our stay was marred by three main issues: Firstly poor maintenance - when we arrived in our room we found that the toilet flush was broken - very obvious because there was no flush button. We notified reception who promptly sent someone to fix it but the repair was clearly inadequate because the flush broke again after only two further uses Secondly - the noise of banging doors all through the night. It was not clear whether this was due to the actions of other unthoughtful guests or due to staff accessing staff facilities nearby but disrupted our sleep Thirdly - the music which continuously plays in the lobby area and in the Le Tatawi restaurant. A few minutes of piano music is played on constant repeat all through the day. By the end of our dinner in the restaurant we were desperate to leave to escape having heard the music perhaps 10-12 times. Unfortunately it is played at a volume which means it can not be ignored. Most hotels of this standard have background music but it is varied through the day and not just a constant repeat.

Nice hotel close to everything you need , but I did I ask but about wake up call , I didn’t get it , room service was late about 10 minutes , as I had the taxi booked for 5am so I had to rush . I did find plastic in my sausage but no action has been taken, but overall it was good hotel

Staff act as though we are an inconvenience: drapes falling off, dirty carpets, only one towel, carpet stained and soaking wet by bathroom door, shower wall leaks, bathroom light flickering, toilet leaking. Told us they would fix everything: they fixed nothing. We were in 3 rooms during four days, and finally just gave up!

Stayed at medina atlas for 3 nights.Location was great but drinks is very expensive. Half drink bottle is 25 Durham. Resection Staff is very rude not very polite.

Did my research. Great location, next to all the fancier expensive hotels but so happy we stayed here. 4 star, large hotel, very spacious room, huge pool area, helpful staff. Hotels.com rate only $85/nt included breakfast and they upgraded us to a pool view right when we arrived. All hotels are at least double the price. Go visit them but stay here. Oh, and when you arrive at airport make sure you tell the taxi you want to pay a metered price. They are all out to rip you off. Don’t let them take your bags and hustle you. Hotel is only 15 min from airport and shouldn’t be more than 100 Durham ($9.00).

Hotel service is ok, everyone friendly however the only downside is the breakfast is not good. The breakfast doesn’t have much variety and they don’t seem to top up. Spa area is really nice however it’s quite expensive and you also have to pay to use the indoor pool / Jacuzzi.

Many problems
Firstly, the internet was spotty. Second, their couldn't process my payment. I still contend that it was their machine or connection because my card worked just fine at a local restaurant the night before. There were tiles missing from the bathroom wall in my room. The air conditioning caused condensation to drip on the carpet. The phone didn't work so I needed to walk down to the restaurant when I wanted to order room service. Overall, very poor.

Very beautiful and good hotel but bad reception
The location of the hotel was great and my room was clean and big. It is so beautiful hotel and the restaurant in front of the pool is amazing. The breakfast was so so. The reception is really slow and I can say they are not helpful. Seems like they are lazy. I cut my finger and I ask for the bandage in 6 am from the reception guy but he said they don't have any and I should wait till 10:30.
