“super hotel with a million dollar lake view”
Stayed here for 2 nights a little pricey but the view of Lake Superior and Picture Rocks is worth the money . If you stay get the lakeview rooms . Great breakfast included and rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable .

Easy car access from M-28. Quiet location, just outside the town. Well-maintained hotel with courteous staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful bay view from dining room windows.

The hotel is nice and the location is exellent. The room facing lake has beautiful view. It worth the extra penny for staying on the lake side. The viewi is fantastic. Saffs are very friendly.

Hotel was comfortable, beautiful view of Lake Superior, friendly staff, free hot breakfast. Close to all the sites; waterfalls, ship tours, casino, restaurants, etc...Will stay at this hotel every time we come up this way.

“I will stay here again”
The hotel was very nice. The pool area was exceptional. The only flaw was the tub in our room was not perfect, the chrome had water spots. The breakfast was good, lots of variety. The hotel is located close to Pictured rocks and the Miners castle beach was the BEST. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Thank You.
“Beautiful Place”
We had a beautiful lakeview room overlooking Lake Superior with full view of Grand Island. I chose this hotel as a place for my husband and I to stay at for our 32nd anniversary and was not disappointed. Munising, Michigan, is a wonderful place to spend time in, as well as this Holiday Inn Express.
“Nice place but way overpriced. Nothing special.”
If you have a chance to stay here during a storm, it might be worth the cost. Otherwise, you can find a nice comfortable place at a mom&pop motel for a lot less. Bath tub drain would not close for a bath and would not drain well for a shower. If you have trouble walking, this is not your motel. There is a long set of stairs to reach the motel. Staff was cordial, but not interested in us as customers.
“Good location”
The hotel is just west of town with a view of the entire area. The breakfast is actually a full breakfast rather than the Continental one that they advertise. My only negative, as it is for many hotels, is the automatic door closers on the room doors; they make the door slam very loudly, which is disturbing after settling in for the evening.
