Convenient location, right off the highway and across from a gas station. We only spent a quick night here on a two-day trip to Yosemite. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff were great to work with. The rooms were large, spacious and spotless. Beds and bedding were comfortable, in-room AC was very effective. They served a continental breakfast that was expansive and generous with high-quality ingredients and food. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Great location both in town and for getting to Yosemite. Comfortable room. So-so breakfast. A local place up the road had good breakfasts and open at 5:30am for those wanting an early start. And awesome pizza a block away. Nice town overall.

Place is really clean. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is just cereal, bread, juice and coffee or tea. Waffle? We are not sure if we can call that waffle.
It will be good if the hotel add little more to the breakfast.
I was worried given that some reviews were negative. The facility was in better shape then I imagined. The receptionists/(owners?) were kind and accommodating and the room clean with new marble tiles in the bathroom. I don't know about the other rooms. Being in Mariposa is a bonus because there are some great shops and eateries.

"Very very good for being the oldest hotel in town"
Even though it's the oldest hotel in town, it's very very nice. Loved the charms and everything from the rooms to the cafe are still very clean and well-maintained and don't feel aged at all. It's also right in the middle of town with great restaurants nearby which makes it very convenient. Definitely the best place we could've stayed for a trip to Yosemite (without actually staying in a lodge inside Yosemite Valley).
Clay & Joy really made me feel welcome on my visit here. This place is out in the countryside West of Mariposa so make sure you get good directions before leaving the main road. It is worth the effort - the magical experience of watching the Humming Birds and Deer from the verandah will remain with me for a long time - far better than staying in a hotel in a town. The whole stay was excellent - good WiFi to keep in touch with home was a real pleasure. The breakfasts were superb - lovely home cooking with lots of local produce - they even understand our British love of strong tea! I can highly recommend Yosemite Bed & Breakfast.
Great stay close to Yosemite with the option to enter from either west or south gate. Close to downtown restaurants but still a country feel. Hotel owner is very accomodating and hospitable. Room was spacious and very clean. Would definitely book again.
