Very clean and comfortable room with a wonderful big balcony with views of the beach and harbour below. It took only a few minutes to walk down the steps from the hotel to the harbour and beach, with its' good choice of restaurants . The archaeological site at Selinunte was about 15 minutes walk away and a fascinating visit. Breakfast was a real bonus as this was served in the open air roof terrace with its great view of the sea and harbour below. There was lovely fresh fruit, croissants, bread , jams , cakes , cheeses, eggs, ham . This was one of the best parts of the day. We would also recommend the starter buffet in the hotel restaurant , for its good choice of tasty starters , although the choice of main course dishes was a little limited.

The hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from the beach however there is always a horrible smell lurking around selununte. The hotel is very classy and the food was superb. However there is not much to do in selununte and there is a bus to castleveterano every 3 hours. You would need a car to get around Sicily. Generally if you are loooking for a relaxing holiday this would be a perfect hotel and location to pick. The staff of the hotel and ppl of selununte are very friendly and welcoming.
"Decent hotel right off the beach, needs some TLC"
The location is good, right across from the beach. The rooms were clean, but needed some updating. The dresser was musty, furniture seemed cheap and somewhat rickety, and the A/C unit sub-par. The breakfast selection could have been better. There was no fresh fruit or cereal.......basically donuts/pastries, cheese, yogurt, lunch meat, fruit juice and a coffee vending machine. The shower was like one of those camping showers that you can add-on to the outside of an RV.........just a curtain....no walls. I spend very little time in the room, so it didn't ruin my trip. The layout of the hotel is nice, with an upstairs terrace, and balconies for each room. Just needs some updating!

"Great view and room. Good food but a bit isolated. You need a car."
Large, clean rooms, with an excellent view over pool, beach and Mediterranean or pleasant surrounding country. We were the only English there (mostly Italian) which was fine, but few staff spoke much English; they were very helpful. You need to take at least half board, there is nowhere else to eat, but the dinners were good and reasonably priced (20 euro for buffet including water and wine). Excellent starters, good pasta and sweet, but only fair main course. Friendly, eccentric entertainment, which was quite loud at times, and went on till 12.30 on two nights of the week we were there. Ask for a room NOT overlooking pool if this is a problem. All round a good, quiet well run, reasonably priced hotel.
"In a beautiful area, good shuttle bus service to b"
Very friendly staff, good standard of English. Organised trips were very good and useful and driving in Italy is not recommended. Enormous pool, plenty of beds.
What we were not happy with was being asked to pay 140 euros on arrival, which I admit I had overlooked on the paperwork. This was not made clear to us WHEN WE BOOKED. I have written to complain about this to you but you have not replied. Please can you acknowledge my complaint, at least.
Super hotel in lovely area with great potential. Friendly staff, superb clean pool and good breakfast.Excellent private beach. Needs to have written information for guests about times and facilities. At times musty smell from shower drain which needs to be sorted. Confusion about beds in our room due to booking system. Childs bed was removed halfway through our stay!
About 2km from the Selinunte and provided a helpful map of the site when we checked out.
Everyone was very helpful. This is a small hotel and had an excellent restaurant. Possibly the best food in the 10 days we have been in Sicily so far.
