They made our stay very comfortable by asking us our opinions about the hotel and if there is anything they can improve on. We asked for a kettle in our room and they provided one in less than 20 minutes with a choice of tea and coffees.
TV fees in the room was good with plenty of choices from films to bbc news.
The cleaning staff were very good and friendly. We got a room upgrade and had lovely sea views. 100 percent grade for this hotel.
I don't usually write reviews but my daughter and I had such a nice time here that I would recommend it to anyone.
We arrived at around 12pm and the room wasn't ready so we were offered free drinks in the bar while we waited, the staff were friendly and some of them are great characters.
The room was comfortable and clean.
The grounds of the hotel are spacious and a nice place to be in general. The choice of indoor and outdoor pool is a great asset.
It's child friendly but you don't feel over run by kids.
On the beachExcellent situated in the middle of Marbella and on first beach line. Extensive gardens and direct access to the …More
Fantastic location, exceptionally helpful staff, clean rooms, comfty beds, the breakfast was excellent, all in all very good value for money for the 100 eur/night budget range. The only downside is the noise at night coming from the square, but that's to be expected given the location. I would stay there again without a doubt.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Marbella Playa Hotel! The employees were friendly, although a bit disorganized when it came to payment and charging things to the room (not unusual for Spain.) The pool and beach facilities were great, although you have to pay extra for the sun beds on the beach. A taxi or car rental is needed to get to Marbella center. If you miss breakfast you can't order food until 12:30 when the beach bar opens, but there is an Open Cor supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the hotel so that was convenient. The water slides and kiddie pool looked fun, I would definitely recommend this to families with children, however as students in our early 20's we still had a great time.
From what is could see this is a well appointed resort hotel well suited for families. I was however staying out of season when most of these facilities were closed and very few guests were on the property. This didn't however impact the excellent service I experienced.
Really friendly staff, beautiful location right on the beach and fantastic pool.
Lovely beach side restaurant with great grilled squid! A little pricey but worth it.
Also no price list for alcohol so be careful as sangria was 18 euros !
Would defiantly go back again.
We had a three bedroom apartment in the Sevilla block with stunning views of the pool, gardens and sea. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, and maintained to a high standard. The gardens are beautiful and well cared for. The pool areas kept my 3 daughters busy, the heated pool was especially welcome. The beach is a few minute's walk away, beautiful golden sand with cafés for lunch, the sea was warm and safe, and great fun.
We took a bus to Marbella town, the old town was lovely, very pretty and lots of good shops and cafés.
The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.
3rd stay at this hotel, brilliant hotel the roof top pool is very good and the spa is also very good! The only thing with the roof top pool is there used to be vending machines, now they have gone and what seems like a bar is there but was never open!! Little bit of a walk to restaurants etc but is a lovely walk along the beach front! Definitely recommend!
