Differentiated experience in service, we were explained about everything in the hotel including the room facilities. The breakfast is complete and there are snacks during the day that were very helpful for us. The hotel is very cozy and the personnel is watchful of what you need.
A no-frills hotel, but with such a good location, who needs frills? Room was tiny but clean, and view out onto Rue Rivoli was fabulous. Also fabulous were the baguettes and croissants served for breakfast. Very good value overall.

I would recommend the Hotel Ducs d'Anjou to anyone who wants to be in a great location and who prefers not to stay with a big chain. It's a small hotel with small rooms - spacious rooms in the center of Paris are way beyond my means. Security is excellent - 24-hour reception desk. The staff are friendly and helpful. For instance, on my last day, two staff members helped contact the shuttle company to be sure they knew the location of the hotel. (It's in a pedestrian area, so pick-up in a vehicle is not obvious.) Breakfast is quite adequate - scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, cold cuts, cold cereal, and, of course, terrific bread (including croissants and pains au chocolat). A very important aspect for me was that the air conditioning was exceptional.

The hotel and the unique rooms are amazing. The room we had was cosy but what was expected in a Parisien hotel. Very nice decor and friendly staff.
It is only 5 minutes on the Metro to the Louvre and the main tourism areas of Paris.
Lots of bars and restaurants in the area for whatever you would like to do in the evening.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Pocket Guide: Paris Marais - Pompidou - Notre Dame de Paris Hotels
A beguiling mix of art and architecture, the revitalised Beaubourg and Marais districts are home to Paris’ Jewish community and a thriving gay scene. Attractions include the Pompidou Centre, Place des Vosges (Paris’ oldest square), the Picasso museum, Notre-Dame cathedral and bijou Ile-St-Louis. Stalls selling birds, flowers and books line the banks of the Seine. Village St-Paul is good for antique-hunting. The area is best explored on foot.
