We love this place so much! This was our second visit and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Mantova. Alessandro and Christina felt like old friends, taking very good care of us. The rooms are very modern with everything you could need. Breakfast is fabulous! Just a few minutes walk to the city center and a wonderful gelateria just across the street!

comfortable room of decent size. functioning climate control. hotel provides parking for small fee (need them to let you in and out so perhaps less convenient than some, however street parking will be scarce). Location not good
The location is poor. Not convenient for principal sights nor train station. Public transportation access is poor for traveling to sights. Infrastructure and amenities not so exceptional to outdo the above. Better options in city center.

Upon your arrival, we immediately assigned your room at 11:00 in advance because c/in is at 14:00 and we think it's a positive aspect for any guest who in this way can immediately settle inside the room. As for the accommodation, having chosen a room with a single bed, described and with photos available, you could see that it was not a big room. Maybe next time you should book a double room for single room. In this case the room will be bigger than a single room. Best regards.

Staff, room, breakfast, parking were all perfect. We highly recommend this hotel. It was easy to find and is a short walk from the water, center of town and historical sites.

Nice place to stay in
Call in advance to reserve your parking as spaces are limited, though there's usually on street parking available. The single room is quite small, I would reccomend booking a bigger one. Otherwise, the place is a gem - very conveniently located near city centre and quite nicely decorated

good place to stay
The hotel staff is very friendly and happy to assist and give advice. Public parking close to the hotel (6.50 eur /day) , easy to walk to the city centre and good selection of the restaurants nearby. Room was spacious, the bathroom is okay. Would like to see some bottles of water/tea/coffee in the room- considering it’s a 4* . Staff looks very careful on all Covid restrictions- which is nice to see

Comfortable bed. Very clean. Fantastic breakfast with nice service. Location good 10 min walk to center. The only negative I didn’t know I had to pre reserve garage It was full, but parking was easy to find on street.

A wonderful staff
The hotel was pleasant. Room was very large. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good. There is no restaurant or cocktail lounge - just a service bar sp I would not rate it 4 stars - maybe 3 1/2. It was a bit of a walk to the historical area. Also - one suggestion to the hotel. Some Kleenex in the room would be very nice. Most hotels have it.

Contemporary Mantova twist
Nice contemporary style hotel , well looked after , staff all friendly and helpful . Its not quite in the center of Mantova ... but everywhere is within walking distance so not a deal breaker. Its about 10 minutes to get to the center ... very happy to recommend it !

Great hotel close to Centro Storico
We only stayed for one night, but this hotel was delightful. Lovely updated rooms with stylish modern furnishings. Great location and an easy walk from all of Mantova’s historical sites. Our room included a sleeper sofa for our daughter and it was plenty spacious. Mantova can be very hot in the summer - happily Casa Poli has a/c and our room was nice and cool. The front desk staff was friendly and so helpful, even making a restaurant recommendation and a dinner reservation for us (and it was one of the nicest meals of our Italy trip). The breakfast selection was also quite nice, up to and including vegan pastries that were delicious.

Great choice.
Stylish hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very good. Stayed 3 nights, end of February. Hotel left a gift in our room when they learnt it was my partners birthday. Room very comfortable - fantastic mattress.

Nice base to tour from
Visited Verona and Bologna by train during our short stay & had a nice look at Mantova too - wrong time of year perhaps as lots of restaurants were closed for holidays but still enough open to make it enjoyable. Casa Poli is a really nice hotel - modern facilities & a good location - easy to get to by car (a bit of a hike from the station though) Staff were very pleasant & helpful

Close to town center
I was in Mantova for a business trip and booked for two weeks at this hotel on Expedia. Not sure if it's the hotel or Expedia, but we couldn't cancel the hotel when we had a change of plans. I only stayed for 2 nights and we had to move because of work, but I was charged 50% of the remaining 10 nights. So you might want to read all their terms very carefully.

Love this hotel!
Love, love, love this hotel. Entire staff is great especially Alessandro, who made us feel like VIP's!! The location is great, just before you get to the no drive zone,(cameras are watching, and you will get a ticket if you drive past the red circle signs!) and parking is directly behind the hotel in a garage! The breakfast was wonderful, and abundant. The rooms are very modern and stylish, and roomy. There is aldo an outside terrace to sit under the stars. The historic center is only a ten minute walk and great shops and restaurants abound.

Top hotel in wonderful Mantova
Excellent hotel in a beautiful city. Comfortable room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast buffet The hotel arranged car transfers from and to Verona airport, which - although not cheap - saved so much time compared to the public transport option (bus/train). So easy to explore the city on foot from the hotel. Plenty of local restaurants and enotecas nearby.

Enjoyed staying in Casa Poli. Very comfortable room. Quiet although the front rooms may not be. Very nice reception staff. Breakfast was fine- fruit yoghurt cake cereals etc. Orange juice was awful!
