“Wonderfully helpful staff”
These folks were very friendly and helpful from the first check in until I checked out, making sure I had everything I needed for my Thanksgiving weekend visit. Thank you Red Roof Foxboro.
“Bugs, Leaking Water & Missing Furniture”
I did not expect this to be the Park Plaza, but I also did not expect to turn back my sheet and see a small bug scatter away. A leak across the floor in the bathroom got my socks quite wet. While there were two double beds in the room, it was apparent to see where there used to be a desk and a small table and chair set - like most hotels have for their guests. If I was Mr. Red Roof, I'd be embarrassed. On another note, restaurants were nearby, it's right off the highway, and the neighborhood is decent.
“Bad Service”
The hotel itself was fine but the service sucked. We called ahead to see if we could check in early before the Patriots game so we wouldn't have to wait in line later after the game. We were told that our room was ready and we could check in early, so we made a special trip there before the game. We walked up to the check in counter and the woman behind the counter (about 2 feet away) never looked up from her computer to acknowledge us. How hard is it to say "I'll be right with you"? A few minutes later she looked up and stared at us, never saying a word. I guess she couldn't be bothered to say "How may I help you?" We told her we were the ones that called requesting an early check in and she said she was the one that spoke with us on the phone. Then she said she wasn't sure if the room was ready and we would have to wait until the head of the cleaning staff came down to the lobby so she could ask her how long it would be. So we waited there in the lobby for about 15 minutes. I made eye contact with her several times while we were waiting, giving her the "Well??" look and she never said a word, so I went up to the front desk again and said, "Do you know what's up with our room?" and she said "I don't know where the cleaning woman is, so I guess your room isn't ready - but you can check in after the game..." Thanks for nothing. Won't go back and can't recommend the place. Service is very important to me and this place was clueless in that regard.

“Affordable and convenient”
Room was very nicely kept, beds were a little hard and not that supportive. Very close to restaraunts & other shopping. Very close and convenient to the Comcast Center which is the main reason for our whole trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Small coffee bar in lobby, water not always hot. Definitely plan on bringing/buying snacks as vending was limited and expensive. Overall, would return and patronize this hotel again.
“It was 1 night”
One night stay, room was clean, tub drain stopper was broken-can happen, was noted at check-out by front desk to be fixed. We all shower, it just drained slowly. Bed springs were noisy with not much padding, but we slept. Maids were still cleaning rooms, as we were checking in, at 5 PM, apparently they use the same elevators as the guests. Opening the elevators you would be greated with bins full of dirty laundry,and they would hold the elevators on the floors they were cleaning so the guests would be lined up in the lobby waiting for the elevator to arrive, to be greated by smiling cleaning staff and bins of dirty laundry. There must be a better way, no service elevator? To the staff's credit the place was clean. Front desk guy not very good with directions to breakfast. He sent us to a place over a mile away for breakfast, yet there was one in the shopping center right next to the hotel. We found it. He did mumble directions to a decent Pub down the street for dinner, to his credit. No complimentary breakfast, coffee always available, though no real milk or sugar, no shampoo in the room only one bottle of conditioner? It's the little things that make even a one night stay pleasurable. Pool was nice. It is a pet friendly hotel, no animal odors( good cleaning staff again) So that was a plus. For the price it was what you come to expect for a travel motel, minor stuff.
“First and last stay at a Red Roof Inn”
I travel a lot and in general am not bothered by little hiccups along the way. I've never written a poor review before this stay, but really feel I must this time because this is without a doubt the absolute filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. On first arrival, the hotel seemed old and in need of a touch up but our room appeared to be okay. However, as we unpacked we started noticing things like the bathroom floor hadn't been swept. There was hair everywhere! Disgusting! And speaking of the bathroom, there was no fan and the bathtub is worn and chipped. So, we took care of the bathroom situation and went out for dinner. The next morning I unhappily discovered that the coffee maker wasn't cleaned either. The coffee packet from the last guest was still in the filter basket. I checked out the microwave and...what a surprise...it was filthy inside as well! Food splatters and oddly enough hair...again disgusting! So, needless to say, this was my one and only trip to a Red Roof Inn!
