A perfect hotel for a comfortable stay without the frills but the lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room was a cut too far. But this was more than than compensated for by the charming and helpful staff and a more than adequate selection of breakfast choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay again when next in Mannheim.

The staffs in front desk are very nice. Free parking is offered. The guestroom is clean and spacy. Free WIFI can be used in the guestroom but there is a limit of 100MB. Technoseum is within walking distance from the hotel.
It is more like an apartment complex. Difficult to find. I arrived after hours and finding the right room took a lot of effort. The room was decent. The area was quiet. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath. Price was good for an overnight stay before leaving from Frankfurt.

I visited Mannheim second time now for Time Warp festival. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. You could feel spirit of festival right at your first steps. Hotel has really good location very close to Water tower and historical center of town. If you dont want to use hotel restaurant there is many nice stylish restaurants around. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Me and my group will definately be back next year. Well done Dorint
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. I arrived early and they let me go to my room. Easy check-in. One of the two elevators took me up to the 4th floor with ease, I didn’t have too much luggage. Just the carry on that was packed till the stiches started popping. I don’t like to have check-in luggage when I travel that way the airlines can’t lose it. I did have a backpack for all the trinkets I bought and that T-shirt, “My parents went to Germany and all they got me was this T-shirt”. Rooms were adequate in size. Not as big as in the states. But then you spend most of your time out and need the room to sleep and wash-up. Bed was very well kept and comfortable. I can never get a pillow I like so I can’t say anything on that. Bathroom was very clean. It had a hair dryer, 2 soap dispensers, a glass cup and towels. The TV was the old single tube type.. but there again I didn’t watch TV plus it was all in German, “Imagine that!”. They did have a USA today paper in English at the front desk. The room had a mini bar with a price list and room service. I am not too sure of the hours but the service was there if you got hungry. The room I was staying in was facing the back but still had a view of some nice buildings and the window worked. The room stayed cool and when the temperature dropped all of a sudden on my last day was nice and warm so when I got out of the shower I didn’t freeze my toes off. The room was cleaned every day very early, so get up and out before they knock on
A good hotel (near a large supermarket) - with all the core essentials for a business traveller. Modern decor (its a new hotel) and friendly staff. They've always given me the quiet room I've asked for. Food is fresh, bed is great, wifi access and modern bathrooms.
Only possible irritations: timing for being able to order dinner is quite limited, the menu doesn't change - and lunch is not always available. Breakfast is adequate but don't expect anything lavish.
Overall, my preferred hotel for Mannheim.

The hotel staff kept me waiting at the checkin counter for 10 minutes while she yakked on the phone. Charged me for two days of breakfast and only gave me one day of coupon. She was rude and unhelpful about nearby locations to eat or sight see.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location- only a short walk to the downtown shopping street (Planken), Old Watertower and Schloss. Nice clean modern rooms. The frosted glass door on the bathroom was an interesting European touch. Convenient clean parking below the hotel for a reasonable fee.
