“Definitely, not coming back!”
It's the worst hotel that I stayed in, the check in process was fast but suddenly the front desk agent asked me to pay the parking of P150 a night, for me parking should be complimentary to the guest, then we went inside the room and no hot water, a guy came and fixed, the parking was soooo steep that u would think its the road to hell! The basement parking sucks big time, so we ended up parking at the side of the road hoping no drunk driver would bang the car, this hotel doesn't have an outside call! They can't even connect the call to ur room which is ridiculous!!! The beds slide on the floor bec it's not even carpeted, the cushions on the couch slides down, the bathroom floor gets very wet bec they did not made a division on the shower and toilet bowl only a curtain that doesn't even meet the floor so the water ends up crossing the toilet bowl side and the vanity, they don't even have a magnetic card for the room, it's just an ordinary door knob and key, that makes me worried every time I leave..the only thing I like was the wifi, at least it worked. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will not come back even if it's the only hotel available in Manila! No freakin way!
“FRIENDLY STAFF!!!”
THE ONLY PROBLEMS WITH HOTEL WAS NO A/C IN ELEVATORS AND HALLWAYS. AND THE COUCH CUSHIONS IN ROOM KEPT FALLING APART. BUT ON THE POSITIVE THE STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS... AND THE COMPLEMENTORY BREAKFAST WAS OUTSTANDING....I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN FOR THE FRIENDLY SERVICE ALONE/////
“Met our needs”
Well, not a bad hotel by Philippine standards. We stayed 4 nights. The first night our air conditioner was not working so at 4am (after no sleep) my wife called the desk. They sent some one right up, who could not fix the problem, so they moved us to a upgraded room with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, one of which had hot water. We reported that issue right away and it was not fixed or addressed over the next four days. This room had a great view from the 23rd floor, looking down on Burger King, which is a very happening place in Manila and they serve beer. They breakfast was fine for us, warm and as much as we needed to start each day. They staff was kind and helpful giving us directions and hailing cabs for us as needed. Be aware the hotel will charge you 1000 pesos at time of check in but it will be taken off your card if you do not incure extra expenses.
“nice staff”
nice staff, great location only drawback is lack of a/c in lobby and hallways
“Very impressed for big city Hotel”
NICE surprise when we got there. We booked the LOFT as there were 4 of us. 2 air con bedrooms upstairs & 1 bathroom. Sitting area with TV & air con, kitchen, bathroom, and space for cot on main flr. Kitchen set up for 2 ppl only. balcony door didnt close tight, 22nd flr, so no one was coming in. LOTS of street noise but it is in the city! Earplugs is all you need as the beds are the BEST..Seriously! Shop downstairs for snacks, drinks, and necessities. Easy to get a cab-get life insurance! :). Breakfast included was GREAT, full meal deal! Great chicken place across road, and steak place beside that. We were almost the only ones in the pool, hmmm, January? Canadian eh! The pool is on the 8th flr and it is fairly small, but it suited us fine.
“Except for the driveway”
My husband took sometime at every curve of the very narrow driveway. But Torre Venecia's De luxe Loft is a grand room. My family enjoyed the cozy atmosphere...a master bedroom, one single bed room, a kitchen nook, 2 toilet and bath, and a spacious living room. Since we stayed on a weekend, the view from the living room was also good enough...clear sky. The surrounding neighbourhood, viewing from the 24th floor, was clean and quiet. It was just like home...we were able to do what we had to do for the following day's special event. We also had a grand breakfast. Thus, except for the driveway up the parking spaces, Torre Venecia is a grand hotel to stay in.
“See you guys next year”
This place will always be my 2nd home everytime I go back home to the Philippines..Stayed last April 09 for a week then just this Nov 09 for more than a week, very friendly, helpfull and very professional staff...The 2 bedroom Deluxe Loft I stayed in is very clean and modern...The housekeeping crew very polite while cleaning the condo unit...I just wanted 1 request from Torre Venezia and Quantum, please maintain this condotel like the way you guys been doing it, you're doing a very good job..I will be coming back again next year and definetely will stay here again..Sincerely Mr. Nolasco Quito Jr.....And did I mentioned the nearby and I mean nearby, like walking a block or so gimiks and resto(name it its near the place)..Love the place and the staff..Salamat po ulit
“Am looking forward to my next stay here”
The only thng I really found poor was that the hallways where very warm, no airconditioning. People where great, security is very good, resturant was fair
“I felt deceived”
The hotel's staff was great but the facilities were no where near the pictures seen. Rooms are very small and you can bearly fit when sitting on the toilet. The staircase to the rooms is very steep and dangeorus for children. the elevators are very slow, dark, and hot.
“DON'T STAY HERE”
We stayed here after returning from Boracay, luckly it was only for one night. It is nearly an hour from the airport and many taxi drivers don't like driving that far out. When getting taxi's back from the local mall taxi drivers had not even heard of this hotel. The reception area is impressive but don't let this fool you. We booked a 2 bed, 2 bath, split level loft apartment. First impressions were good, but then.... Hair in the shower. Cracked tiles. Mould in the shower. Sink not attached to the wall properly. Hang a towel on the rail and the rail will fall off. Torn bed sheets. Balcony - But door is locked to prevent usage. No glasses provided in kitchen. No dustbin in kitchen. Maid rings doorbell at 8.30am to check if we needed anything - no 'do not disturb sign'. But what really got to us was the fire alarm going off at 4am in the morning and realising we were on the 22nd floor! Am so glad it was only for one night.
