Intercontinental is a bit pricey but it's worth it. The staff is very courteous and we were greeted by everyone (from security guard outside to door man and staff in the hall) when we arrived and also every time we left/entered the hotel. The room is very clean and has all the amenities you could want. Also, the proximity to all the malls (SM, Glorietta, etc.) make it a great location so all the shopping and restaurants are just walking distance. Overall, I would stay there again anytime in Philippines.
Everything in the hotel is PERFECT; facility is brand new, all the staff are courteous and the room is very clean and comfortable. Can't find any fault. The biggest plus; the hotel is located within Glorietta (you don't even have to go out on the street).

This hotel I found was great, staff were always polite, all the rooms were clean, rooms made up every day. Fresh towels every day, food was great, prices were nice, not to high for a family to stay. Location was very good for the shoppers with 3 shopping malls with in a 10 minute drive, one of these is a 3 minute walk, location great if taxi needed but hotel will surply transport at a small cost if you prefer. Overall ifound the City garden a great place to stay and I am going to stay there again.

This is a very pleasant hotel. We have stayed here for over 20 years now, and the only reason I did not give it all 5 stars was because part of the hotel is being renovated. When this project is completed the hotel will be like new.
However, the thing that sets this property apart is the staff.
Very few properties have had their key employees working at the same jobs for so long.
They have very little turnover, and through the years the service has been impeccable.
The Concierge is a throwback to times gone by when they would do almost anything for the guests.
The various restaurants are quite good.
The rooms comfortable, and, like I said, being updated.
One of the best things about this property is the location. There are other hotels that are built into the Shopping Malls of Makati and it causes them to be almost frantic with too many people.
The Dusit is just far enough away where you don't have to jockey for an elevator, and the lobby is a place of peace and tranquility.
A welcome touch is the fragrance that permeates the common areas, of I believe lemon grass oils.
