Nice hotel, the room was one of the largest I have ever stayed in (especially in NY city)! Clean and comfortable. Our room faced the alley and we did not hear any traffic noise at all. Large bathroom with nice shower head and fluffy towels. Only complaint was the chair for the desk was not adjustable and too low so we had to sit on a pillow from the bed.

I stayed in NYC for 3 days, thus I wasnt in the room much. It was tidy and clean every day I was there. The staff were very friendly as well. The room itself was bigger than I thought it would be which was an added bonus. Since I was only there to sleep it was quite enjoyable and comfortable. For a Hotel in NYC the pricing was reasonable and the location is great since there are many sites within walking distance. There was construction across the street so there was some noise, but its NYC, so that was to be expected. Nothing some earplugs could'nt fix. It was a very enjoyable stay for my first time to NYC.

In a refreshingly ungentrified part of town, this hotel was close to subways, great restaurants (fancy and non) and tons of history. The room was small but comfortable. My only complaint would be that the temperature varied between pretty cool and way too warm and my room thermostat didn't seem to make a difference. But it was fall and I know it's really hard to transition from cooling to heat, so I really can't fault them for that. The morning breakfasts were perfectly adequate and this was a great base of operations for my work trip to Manhattan.

Great location (for me), clean modern rooms and excellent staff.
The only thing to be aware of is the size of the rooms and the tiny lobby which can become a bit claustrophobic if on a long business trip and plan to relax in hotel during the evenings.
I understand this is absolutely nothing they can do about this and because of the excellent reception staff my overall rating is a 5.
