We have just stayed at Broadway Plaza for 4 nights. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were really comfy - thank goodness- after all the walking we did.
We liked the self service breakfast, plenty of Danishes, doughnuts and bagels to choose from and constant supply of coffee, juices etc.. The breakfast room is quite small but we took our breakfast back to our room as we were staying on the fourth floor.
The staff were friendly and I would like to make a special mention to Anthony the concierge. He was excellent, arranging trips, taxis and offering useful information to us everyday. A really enjoyable stay.
When I booked this hotel I requested an upper floor room. I got a room on the top floor with a view straight down Broadway towards Times Square. The room was immaculate, the staff were excellent and the location is unbeatable! 5 minutes walk South to Times Square, 5 minutes North to Central Park, and outside the door is Broadway. Brilliant!
We had three fantastic nights here- too busy to use hotel facilities - rooms really comfortable, staff friendly and polite, we had a fantastic view over Central Park. Could not have wished for more- except a longer stay.
Stayed here on a first visit to New York City with my daughter, for a week in early December. We needed a central location to facilitate sightseeing, Broadway trips, shopping. The hotel is very comfortable with easily adjusted heating and air con, and our twin room was reasonably spacious and well equipped with television and hot drinks machine. The double glazing cuts out street noise. Good hot shower and very comfortable beds. We were at the back and there was a great view of the Empire State Building from our room. The location is very central, 40th and Sixth Avenue, close to shops on Fifth Avenue and also close to Bryant Park which has a subway, giving access to a subway line up town to Broadway etc, and downtown to Greenwich Village; there is also a cross town line which interconnects with the Lexington line which goes up to the Museum Mile. This location and subway access made it really easy to do all the sightseeing, shopping and theatre we wanted to do.
