The hotel is in a great location on the upper west side. The staff was great and the hotel rooms were very modern and up to date. My only criticism was the difficulty regulating the heat in the room. The first night we had to turn off the heat completely yet still felt like we were in a sauna. We notified the desk the next morning and they immediately moved us to a different room that was much more comfortable and actually a little on the cool side.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. Whilst the hotel is set in a busy part of NYC, a stones throw away from the iconic public library, our room was off the street allowing us to have a peaceful night. I loved the decor and the staff were really helpful. Our fridge was regularly replenished, at no cost to us, and the room was always clean and tidy when we got back to freshen up in the afternoon.

All aspects f my stay was terrific. Added was the positive atmosphere created by the hotel staff in the lobby - even singing and making jokes about the elevators being busy and slow...which balanced the only negative of my stay. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Bravo!
Very nice hotel, great staff. The location is prime, within walking distance to many of the main attractions. Room was very clean. Only downsides: no mini fridge in the room. Other than that, great hotel!

Basic room, no frills, but location and price were on par! Can store your bags all day while you wander, can walk everywhere and right on Time Square! Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bathroom was small and towels even smaller, but I would 100% stay again!

We stayed for a week visiting New York for the first time for my 30th birthday!! The hotel was in a good location close to walk to Times Square and Broadway shows. Jon, and Christine were so helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. We never had any trouble and always felt safe, we would define stay here again!
I lived in NY 15-20 years ago. I loved that this afforded my daughter and friends a true NY experience rather than the sterility of a hotel chain. Plan to be back in a couple years when the next kid turns 14...
