Great stay!
Clean, airy room with the best ac control and most comfortable bed of the trip. Good breakfast. My room had an amazing shower (unfortunately v slow drain but I suspect if I’d stayed long enough that I’d told them it would’ve been fixed in a flash). Friendly, helpful staff even helped me arrange covid testing for my return flight. Hotel is only a few minutes easy walk from the ferry and under ten from the train. I would stay again in a flash.

Breakfast with a view (and a morning breeze).
Go ahead and say yes to any carbs you’re offered in Italy. Breakfast croissants and a piece of homemade cake.

Charming!! Great location. The staff was super friendly & the food was delicious. I’d recommend it for anyone staying in Mandello Del Lario. Excellent price too.

Excellent family run establishment
Checkin was fast and efficient. Was a busy Friday night so town was busy and close parking was difficult. Upgraded to a 2 bedroom self contained apartment which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend.

A taste of Italy
Mamma circus ic a homely little hotel/restaurant in a very quaint piazza in a quaint little town on the side of lake Como. You can spend your time living like an Italian , which , believe me, is not a bad way to live.

our stay was comfortable ' nice rooms, very good kitchen with everything you need, so we could preaper our dinner with pleasure. about location nice place close to the lake, to have a rest and enjoy, every day you could go out with ship to different amazing places like Melagio, Belaggio and ....thank you very much for your hollidays

Great location for lake Como
We travel with 2 little kids and we love the room we received. Super big for the 4 of us, with windows, we can see a little bit of the lake, little kitchen included and a wonderful big bathroom. All remodeled..look brand new and super extra clean. Our room was located in the first floor of a different building around the corner of the hotel next to the church.There is some stairs to get there..nothing serious. Mandelo del lario was a beautiful and great location to visit all the towns of lake como. We rented a car and also used the vaporettos and little trains around. So much fun for the kids. The owner is a really nice lady with the kids and extra helpful with us. We absolutely recommended it. Breakfast was fine ..typical Italian breakfast. We haven't has the time to eat at the restaurant but I heard is really good. We went to a restaurant close to the hotel with a marvelous lake view just Wonderful. For the kids there is a beautiful park great playground area next to the lake..so close to the hotel.

Mixed feelings
We chose to stay in one of the apartments. The first one had a leaking pipe in the bathroom and we had to move to one without a view. Neither of the kitchens were well equipped so we didn't cook. The breakfast was adequate.In future we would stay in a town with more facilities and better transport options. The ferry only comes to Mandello in the peak season except on Sundays.

Les attraits et le confort d'un hôtel de luxe au prix d'une auberge. Tout y est parfait. Le village est charmant, pittoresque et on peut aller partout sur le lac en bateau-bus. Un établissement à recommander sans réserve.

Charmigt boende i gammalt hus i medeltida stad. Lugnt o skönt, härliga promenader i alla gränder. Nära till färjan för båtutflykter på Como-sjön. Nära till Moto Guzzi-museet. Rekommenderar restaurangen med samma namn, drivs av brodern till hotellägarinnan.

Schönes Hotel in einem einheimischen Dörfchen
ich hab mit meiner Schwester 7 Nächte im Mama Ciccia verbracht und eine sehr schöne zeit gehabt. Wir hatten ein sehr neues Zimmer im Nachbarhaus und es war alles sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück haben wir Corona bedingt keine Buffet gehabt, sondern mussten eine Karte ausfüllen was wir gerne essen möchten, die Auswahl war ganz okay und es gab immer sehr leckeren Kaffee. Das Hotel liegt in einem kleinem Dörfchen, das sehr einheimisch wirkte, es gab nur sehr wenige Touristen. Aber Landschaftlich eine Traum, perfekt zum Wandern und auch als Ausgangspunkt um Ausflüge zu machen, mit der Fähre sind wir nach Bellagio und Verenna gefahren, wo deutlich mehr Trubel war. Auch einen Tagesausflug nach Mailand ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und vollständig ausgestattet. Leider scheint die aktuelle Situation, die ein Frühstückbuffet nicht erlaubt, das Personal zu überfordern: auf die angegebene Zeit war kein Tisch eingeplant und unsere Bestellung war auch nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen nicht vollständig.
