If travelling to hotel by hire car from Nice you do need to put address as well as zip code in to sat nav, Just putting zip code not good enough as takes you centre Cannes La Bocca. All facilities excellent which includes food in restaurant and outdoor area of hotel.
Best to walk beaches and restaurants in area as if travel by car you can miss quite a lot. Half hour walk sees you get to most places. Beaches excellent all along corniche. Beach towels provided daily by hotel which is a lovely touch of service.
From hotel by car, easy to get on to A8 which is main motorway to visit different parts of S of F.
Don't be put off by where hotel is situated. Not far as said to beaches and restaurants. August is for families as other months might be more business.
Great location, close to marina, beach, golf course and plenty of restaurants. Front desk and concierge staff excellent. Bar and restaurant area are nice but bar prices are excessive, with plenty of other options nearby. Breakfast disappointing - needs addition of cheeses and cold meats, rather than just bread, pastries and limited fruit.
Picked this property strickly based on price. If you are spending your time in Cannes the cab rides can add up quick. There isn't much near by, but the onsite food options are good and affordable compared to food pricing in the area. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. My room was nice, quiet and the view of the golf course was great. All in all if felt like coming home each day being that it is more of an apartment than a hotel room. The wifi was a bit spotty, but a quick converation with the front desk fixed that issue. There are no cabs driving by each day, but the front desk could get me one in 15 minutes each time I asked.
I was here on business for 11 days and it really was a nice deparrture from Chain Hotels and I'm glad I didn't stay on the water in Cannes because the noise and activity went well in the AM each night and I constantly heard people complain how loud it was and they couldn't sleep. Also, they were paying 3 to 4 times what I was on room and food.

The villas were nice and comfortable, but, i found that the website was a bit missleading with the photographs as it makes it look like a hotel. The villas are your own individual appartment and it doesnt feel as part of a hotel. In fact i cant call it a hotel. The pools were ok but it was like having a pool in your own back garden. There is no service and you wont be having any cocktails at the pool if thats what you expect. Also its very quiet which can be good or bad depending on the holiday you are after.
Whilst the location is beautiful, the place is only ideal for people with a car, as its a bit outide from anything else. I noticed that most residents there were french nationals who were having their holidays there with their cars. So not really ideal if you are from abroad looking to have the whole hotel, service, fun holiday experience.
Also a bit dissapointed with the internet service, as we couldnt get signal in the villa, and even outside the reception there was only a faint signal, so could be frustrating if you rely on the net to stay in touch with your business etc.
If you want to get to central Cannes from here, the local train station is about 10 minutes away by foot, but bare in mind that trains from that station run only every 1-2 hours. But there are also buses.
But overall its a beautiful place and location, peaceful, and the villas are nice. So it can be great depending on the experience you are looking for.
Stayed 3 nights Sept 2014 whilst touring French Rivera by motorcycle. Attached to hotel is multi-story car park, insecure 24/7. Bit dubious about leaving bike in said car park crammed next to scooters - but was ok. Hotel outlook not great, but was just somewhere for us to sleep. Couple restaurants and small shopping centre opposite hotel. Restaurants in France do not serve food till 7pm. Quite a nice walk along river very close to hotel and 90 min walk into Cannes. Local airfield nearby which is quite busy with air traffic as is main toll road (motorway), although in fairness did not here either from within hotel. Toilet in our room broke on 2nd day and hotel staff immediately moved us to another room without any fuss.
In submission cannot really go wrong with Ibis as stayed in 3 of their hotels whilst on our two week tour of France & Italy, however they don't offer best value for money. We booked day before, but if you shop around before hand you will probably find similar and save some Euros.
This twin community lies on the Esterel coast near Cannes. The scenery along this part of the Riviera consists of startling red cliffs and rocky coves backed by forests of pine and cork oak. Some way inland, amid wooded hills, Mandelieu is a premier golfing resort, while coastal La Napoule is a 'station nautique' with excellent sailing and water sports facilities. A February festival celebrates the mimosa that flowers here so profusely.
