“excellent spaciours apartments”
these apartments are great for those who like a home from home. we booked 2 x two bedroom apartments, and because they could not put us in adjoining rooms, we were upgraded to delux rooms for free. the apartments were huge, with one en-suite double bedroom, one double bedroom and seperate bathroom, and a huge open plan lounge / dinning room / kitchen. there were slippers and dressing gown provided, and full stocked bathroom toiletries. The kitchen had everything you could need - fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, with compimentary tea, coffe, sugar and milk in the fridge. There is a flat screen tv in each bedroom, and a large tv with sky and dvd player in the lounge, and music system (no ipod dock though) and free wi-fi. 24 hour reception, with a bar, restaurant and gym too. the Place is 1 minute from Picadilly train station, and 3 minutes walk into the centre of Manchester shopping and bar/restaurant disctrict, and a 20 minute walk to the MEN arena. there is parking availalbe at £9 for 24hours, which is much cheaper than the NCP's in town. Brilliant apartments, great location, will definately be back.
“Great hotel, Great Location, Great Vibe... but don't expect to be knocking out too many zzzzzzz's”
A very clean, attractive hotel that I would recommend to couples/young people, but not families or more mature guests- it has a very youthful vibe and you probably wouldn't get the best night's sleep if that's what you're after!! We stayed for two nights in our gorgeous apartment room and were impressed with the facilities and service we received. The hotel is in a great location and within excellent distance of piccadilly train station, so in terms of convenience it can't be beaten. However, be prepared for 'tipsy' stag parties stumbling past your door in white towelling robes at 4am...it's almost guaranteed! x
“Good Apartment”
Very nice stay in these apartments, good location, and safe area. Small minus points, no basic washing up equipment/ dish cloth etc. only staying for one or two nights, you wouldn't think to take these with you.We only had cereal for breakfast, othewise eating out, so basics provided would have been good. A very minor point, otherwise a very good place.
“Impressive”
We were all excited when push the room's door and walked in. The kitchen was nice and comfortable and the hotel is queit where we can enjoy a very comfortable and warmth evening there. We hope to go back one day or maybe if there is any branch in anywhere , we would lovbe to stay with the hotel

I recently stayed here whilst on business. The room (2 bed apartment) was extremely spacious, clean and tidy. The price of the room was also very reasonable. A great location for both business and leisure.

The apartment was huge and had everything you would need, even for a longer stay. The massive open-plan main room had a dining area, kitchen and living room with Hi-Fi and DVD player. Everything was immaculate. The building itself was very well placed for the centre of Manchester and next time I plan a visit I will be booking here again!
“Great Place To Stay”
I used to stay at The Place on a regular basis and wondered how it might have changed in the past 3 years or so. Well, it hasn't moved an inch from where it was but the surrounding area has undergone improvements from the rather derelict landscape that it was. Inside it has changed a bit. A bar and a restaurant re now present in the foyer, so it feels a bit more like a hotel than it used to. Rooms themselves are much as they were, spacious, functional and clean. They seem to have undergone a bit of a refurb since I was last there, with some of the more tired fittings being replaced and the lock system changed. Should I need to stay in Manchester again The Place will be one of the first I'll go to to check price and availability.
“Good location near to Picaddilly”
THis apartment hotel is just round the corner to Manchester Picadilly Station and about 10 mins walk to the main shopping area. The apartments are well appointed, although our sitting rooms adjoined a central atrium space and the only privacy is from a roller blind, which has gaps down the edges. Blinds need to be kept down if you don't want people to look in! Naerby there are some OK bars and restaurants. Good transport gets you to other places in the city easily.

Great apartment with great facilities and in a great location only thing lacking was some kitchen utensils!
