Great location, easy access to the city centre

Posted 16-Apr-2014
Pros: Fabulous location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, modern and within easy walking distance of everything in the city centre
Cons: Our room window was directly opposite an office block, so we had o keep the curtains closed
Location: Everything is within easy walking distance, like the arena, the train station, bars and restaurants, shops and museums.
Very helpful and friendly staff, the hotel has lost of amenities, including swimming pool and spa. Service at the bar is fast, friendly and efficient, so no waiting to be served. Breakfast offers a wide range of food, from full English to continental, with lots of fruit and cereals, juices and hot drinks. The arena is literally just across the road, and Victoria Train Station also. The hotel is within easy walking to the city centre and shopping area, bars and restaurants, and there are lots of car parks nearby and within easy walking distance. The car park we chose only cost £9.50 to park overnight, which is a lot cheaper than most of those around. It is an ideal place to stay whether on business or for a concert, or even just for a night or two in Manchester.

lovely hotel

Pros: everything
Cons: parking
Location: arena 2 min walk.shops and restaurants 10 min walk.
My partner and I stayed here for the johnny mathis show at the phones 4 u arena. The location is great for the arena just 2 mins down the road. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely,we were given 2 single beds instead of a double bed but we didn't mind too much. The room was lovely and clean.Im glad I took my own tea and coffee as the ones in the room were horrible. The hotel is about 5-10 min walk into town, you will come across the odeon, printworks with lots of restaurants to eat in.Only bad thing I will say is the hotel doesn't have their own car park so you must park across from the arena we paid £9.50 for 24 hours,if you park in the arena car park it will cost you £18.00 so don't park there. Also there is a carpark over the road from the park in,we didn't see it until it was too late but its £2.50 to park over night.I would recommend this hotel to all.

Two star hotel that advertises itself as four star

Posted 08-Apr-2014
Nice staff but the facility was extremely disappointing. The heater didn't work, the safe wouldn't open, breakfast to go was slow, there was no closet and no ironing board in the executive room. And you had to pay for wifi if more than one person in the room. Nice spa though.

after a long day shopping and an evening show, all we wanted was a hot bath and a comfy bed. upon arriving at the park inn at 11.pm , we were told they had overbooked and we were to be transported to another hotel.. although they had my contact details I wasn't informed before hand but was too tired to argue !! so moved we were! therefore I cannot comment on our stay here .

Pros: Location spacious rooms pool and spa facilities
Cons: As above customer service and staff manners.
Location: Excellent location car park across road within walking distance to town centre 5 to 10mins.
Hi booked two rooms at this hotel for Saturday evening as we were going to Man U Liverpool game on Sunday. Hotel was well located and within walking distAnce to city centre. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Disappointed with service and staff manner which Lethe hotel down . Telephoned late evening as we only had two pillows and needed four to be told the hotel was fully booked and they had none and the staff member hung up on me. Breakfast at 9.30 was very busy and not enough staff to clear tables and serve tea and coffee we asked for cutlery and were provided with one set there were four of us. Hope his is something that can be improved upon. Finally no cha on check out was not Sked if enjoyable stay etc S three colleagues were otherwise engrossed in own conversation

So close to Phones4U Arena!!

Posted 07-Mar-2014
Pros: Everything. We had a drink in the bar after the concert, which was very pleasant.
Cons: We thought that the tariff was a bit expensive for room only
The Hotel was very close to the Phones4U Arena (went to see Michal Buble Concert, which was FANTASTIC!!), we also went to The Printworks for a late lunch and found Peachy Keens, which was WONDERFUL!! (Buffet with food from 7 different countries). Also, the Arndale Shopping Centre was only 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and helpful (gave us a map and directions). Everything was spotless and bed was very comfortable
