Nice hotel but breakfast was complete chaos.

Came back from Manchester arena went to bar and waited 25 minutes to get served. Breakfast food kept running out and not enough seats so had to wait 20 minutes to get table. Room was excellent though.

Posted 19-Nov-2014
Pros: I liked the room and bathroom.
Cons: The evening meal.
Location: We were close to the arena, and was able to park in the arena car park all night for £10.There was also other car parks near by.
Cannot fault the room or bathroom.was close to the arena and shops,we ate in the the hotel but food could have been better and was disappointed with our meal.Breakfast was good.

Okay for a Pit Stop.

I would use the Park Inn again but only if I wanted just the bed. I was greeted coolly, I was treated with slight disdain by reception. I felt in the way. It's a good job I am pretty resilient. I asked about a parking discount I could see advertised RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES and was told to ask in the morning. Needless to say I forgot as I was in a rush at 6 a.m. That apart - The hotel did change my booking for me from double to twin but again the receptionist was frosty and unable to make eye contact. The room was clean enough. I did the four in a bed thing and checked for dust. There wasn't any but there was a bed leg that had come off the bed. The windows were huge and the view of the Green Quarter was stunning. The hotel was quiet and I slept like a log but I do that on hot coals anyway. The room was hot and stuffy but to be fair I hadn't checked for any air con. The cover on my bed was bitty with fluff ! ( one of those silly covers that just goes over the foot of the bed. What's all that about ? ) There was an empty car park out back and it never got a car in all night ! Not sure who it belonged to. Considering the price differential you might as well stay at a Travelodge because there's nothing to choose between them. I chose the hotel for it's location in relation to the Arena. No great shakes.

Nice hotel, handy for city centre, parking nearby

Overall pleased with the hotel, the only issue we had was the noisy guests shouting and balling at 5 in the morning.

Nice hotel close to phones for you arena and shops

Posted 02-Nov-2014
Great location for Phones for you Arena and a 10 minute walk from shops. Modern, clean , spacious room and bathroom, helpful , friendly staff, a very pleasant stay :-) Will definitely be my choice of hotel for future events at the arena. Reasonable taxi fare to/from train station or roughly 20 minute walk.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing springs to mind
Location: Good location near to town centre
We were early to check in but the receptionist stored our luggage whilst we went to watch United. The room was a good size with all that we needed we ordered food from room service it was very good and the service was quick. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety of food all in all a great hotel for the price we paid
