“Nice hotel”

What you'd expect from a novotel. I had a standard room, air con didnt work so requested a room change and was upgraded to an executive room, although inconvenient was happy by hotel handling of the situation. Staff friendly, hotel clean location good.

“Very Good Hotel”

Spent two nights in hotel.Condition of hotel,the staff and quality of food exceptional.Hotel in very convenient,central, location.Car parking under hotel,Q Park.Hotel offers discounted parking working in at thirteen pounds per night.Only fault i had was the noise of drunk people outside at three in the morning having a rowdy frisbee contest.Felt hotel security could have dealt with matter better and moved them on.Still well worth a visit and i'd go back.

“Great Hotel in City Centre”

Honestly the only two critiques that I have are that breakfast is rather expensive and I have to pay for the internet. Otherwise the hotel is extremely clean, close to everything and the staff are pleasant. I have been staying there for several years when I travel to Manchester.

“Excellent Value For Money”

Considering it's city centre location, and the price of the room, I was pleasantly surprised at the size and comfort of the room. Superb value for money. A must if you're on a budget or just need a bed for the night!

“Very impressed with this hotel”

We stayed at Novotel Manchester Centre for just one night but I was thoroughly impressed with it. The room was clean, comfortable and exceptionally quiet. Even though we were in the centre of Manchester, I could not hear any traffic noise or even people moving around the hotel. The hotel also has secure parking and they give you a discount card for when you leave so yet more savings to be had. I would definately stay there again.

“Excellently located city hotel”

Absolutely delighted with this hotel. We were going to the Palace Theatre and the hotel was a good location for this (5 minute walk), but we hadn't realised just how good a location it was for walking from the train station and up to the Arndale Centre. Loads of eateries around and about, so for someone unsure as to the layout of Manchester (me!), then this hotel is ideal. Highly recommend it and should I visit Manchester in the future, would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Area recommendations
Where the hotel is located is ideal for theatre-goers, sight seeing and shopping.
Dining
A must whilst in Manchester is Sam's Pudding Shop or Thomas's Pudding Shop. They are both located within 100 metres of each other and have an excellent web site. They provide traditional British food in lovely old world surroundings. Not the cheapest (around £14 for a main course), but the portions are very healthy (or unhealty, depending on which way you want to look at it!!) and so aren't such bad value for money. Something a little bit different and very enjoyable. Be warned though, you might need to book as they are very popular!!

“Good 3 star”

Great location close to train station and trams. Basic rooms but clean, quiet and comfortable. Good value for money for a city break

Lovely shopping area less than 10minutes walk away and bars and restaurants closeer.
