All was ok. It's a good average hotel. Please don't expect a room service. It was a good price.

Excellent location

Brilliant location that was fantastically close to the venue we were going to. Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Room was clean and comfortable and bed was fantastic. The car park opposite was reasonably priced for the night and extremely close to walk with luggage. Will definitely be using this Ibis again.

Great Hotel in the city centre

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Good central location, good full breakfast & left luggage service (for a couple of quid) if you've got an hour or two to kill after leaving your room.
Stayed here for two nights to go to a music festival just outside Manchester. The hotel is in the centre of Manchester - a five minute walk from Oxford Road train station. Staff were pleasant & helpful throughout our stay & the rooms were clean & had everything we needed. There was a bit of noise outside in the early hours, but this is a hotel with plenty of bars & clubs nearby so a bit of noise is to be expected. All in all a great value hotel.

Convenient for piccadilly area

For personal reasons i booked & paid for a family room for me and my daughter, get there given a dble, returned too reception to ask to be offered every other room, made to feel Awkward asking for what id booked!! Asked for directions too town to be advised its a little far so took suggested taxi, next day asked for taxi to station to be told its only a few minutes away, didnt i come from the station yesterday? Rain was bouncing off the floor and i wanted a taxi !! Asked if we wanted breakfast, didnt willingly accept no, continued too try to sell it.. Its a great base once the staff learn to be helpful and not a hinderence
