One night stay

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Liked the décor of the hotel, rooms where basis but everything we needed and comfy beds.
Cons: Decent toilet paper, was cheap shinny awful paper.
Location: Location was really good for the concert we watched and for drinks afterwards.
Me and my husband booked a room at the Ibis as we where watching a band on the Friday night and wanted to make a full evening of it. First impressions where that the reception area was decorated to a high standard although the reception staff didn't seem too keen to be there, also I didn't think staff wearing trainers was a very good example to set?

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Pros: There is nothing to dislike
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is situated 10 mins from city centre. You could jump on free buses and yuo could go to the Trafford centre train station.
I stayed for my 70th birthday and found it excellent. We didnt have to get up early we could please ourselves. Would stayed at the Ibis again.

All round good experience

Great location, really helpful staff - especially at the front desk. No frills perhaps, but does the job for a sightseeing long weekend very well indeed!

Cheap & cheerful

Posted 21-Feb-2015 on Hotels.com
A friend and I stayed here for a night out and to do some shopping, it was everything we expected for the price we paid. The standard of room was good & spotlessly clean with all basics included. The staff were friendly when checking in and out & I'd definitely reccomend it for short visits to Manchester. We also found that everything we needed was in walking distance.

Gig Stay

Hotel ok, just what we needed a bed for the night... not the Ritz, it's an Ibis... what do you expect!?! Functional, Good Location, Nice Bar Right Opposite (Joshua Brooks) and also Fac251 in night, Close enough to Tram and Trains, parking Opposite £10 for upto 24 hours... Job Done, had a great night sleep and a great time in Manchester. Will say that there were some not nice marks on the walls of room and wife notice some stains on bed sheets.
