VFM

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: Shower, very good. Staff polite and friendly
Cons: Mattresses
Location: Not a pretty view, but close enought to walk to main areas
Just out of town by the Gay Village, nighclubs and trains lines but I can honestly say I didn't hear a thing. Bed was a little hard for me but staff bought me another duvet to lay on within 10 mins, also requested another towel and got it straight away. Room is basic, but I only use my room for sleeping as I like to explore what cities have to offer. Was clean, warm and basic. Yes would stay again.

Close to city centre

Posted 03-Feb-2015
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly, also very close to city centre.
Cons: Triple glazing at the front
Location: Lots of streets to walk around and enjoy the awesome Victorian architecture. Great pizza place in canal street called villaggio, food was fantastic .
Nice clean very basic no frills hotel which is fine and reflected the price. Very close to canal street so nice friendly atmosphere for gay and non gay guests alike. Only problem we found was that on the first night which was a Saturday the two clubs opposite the hotel were rocking and rolling and didn't we know it. The staff at our request changed our room without any fuss and lots of apology.

Zentral, netter Service, Preis Leistung super!

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Super zentrale Lage.

It's not perfect but its satisfactory

Posted 08-Jan-2015
Pros: i liked the free wifi, the staff, the bed and the food
Cons: they could start delivering the food to your room instead of making you go downstairs to collect it, the cleaners should change sheets each day
Location: its close to food places & a 20min walk to the museum or to shopping mall. its near some bars/clubs though & a stabbing occured at one during my stay
its a very modern and well decorated hotel, particularly the ground floor where the bar and cafe are situated. Theres also free wifi everywhere (including your room) which is so handy and the speeds are decent the staff are all lovely and kind. in the five nights i was there, any question or request i had was dealt with amazingly theres a cafe menu (with 10 or so items + drinks) that you can order from 24/7. the food is all really good (except the nachos) but kind of expensive & they don't bring it up to your room, you go and collect it yourself downstairs (which is annoying for lazy people like me). its cheaper to go to the spar or any other eating place in the neighbourhood. Breakfast is a buffet & the food tastes alright, but not worth the 8 pounds the hotel itself is very quiet but its next to some bars/clubs so expect a bit of noise if you're staying on friday or saturday - but if youre on a high floor like i was it wont bother you too much my room & bathroom were both very nice and modern - the bed seemed brand new and was amazingly comfortable. theres also a flat screen tv although the channels are a bit average. the bathroom smelt a little funny but it was new looking and the shower was big with good water pressure The cleaners didnt change my sheets at all in the 5 nights i was there which is kinda gross but they did clear plates, empty the bin, clean the bathroom and provide new towels each day

Nice cheap hotel

Posted 03-Jan-2015
Pros: Cheapness and good location
Cons: Drinks could be cheaper and the rooms could do with a makeover
Location: Manchester acadamey is close by and so is the town centre
Went to see ub40 so stayed at this hotel as it was close to Manchester academy and cheap , and the parking for the full day and night was 10 pound.

Good location but needs a refurb!

Posted 30-Nov-2014
The room stunk of stale cigarettes and there was only one extra pillow. Good location only a five min walk to the centre and a late served breakfast and nice check out time at 12
