Hotel decor is quite old (looks as though it hasn't been refurbished since the 1980s); bathroom extractor fans don't work - clearly a known issue as they have signs reminding guests to keep the doors closed so the steam doesn't trigger the fire alarm) Restaurant menu is limited - same options available in the bar, I would have liked to see a fish option (not just meat & vegetarian dishes(

This was an interesting area of Manchester over all and we enjoyed being able to comfortably walk to other areas of the Quay's. However, the hotel itself was a little shabby,certainly in need of an update in the rooms. The bar area was small and expensive with the constant annoying supermarket noise playing in the background. The parking was an added expense but convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.

For a 4* hotel, my room did not match my expectations. Curtains did not close properly, missing some curtain rings. The desk chair desperately needed re stuffing or replacing. Could only find 2 sockets. Cracked tiles in the bathroom, with others coming off the wall. Cold sink tap that needed extreme pressure to turn off. I can’t imagine when this room was last refurbished , the carpets & furniture looked very tired. Bed was very comfortable & staff very friendly.

I love the hotel and the area. The view, but the shower not so much. The bed is comfortable, but kept moving around. Overall it is a beautiful place and moving around is easy.

Ok stay, won’t be coming back though.
The room was great, I had the club room so had a great view over the quay. The service was poor. The menu had been limited to 5 meals due to short staffed but was not warned when making the booking. Had to wait a while even though the hotel was completely quiet to be served at the bar as no staff could be seen anywhere.

Good location for the Quays, beds were comfortable. However all of the rooms were cold (bedroom, restaurant & bar), the decor looks as though it hasn't changed since the 80s. Staff were friendly - just not enough of them. Breakfast buffet had a reasonable spread/options... the heaters under the cooked items were too low - food was tepid, so cooled quickly as the restaurant itself wasn't very warm

I’ve got to say I was super disappointed with this hotel. Firstly it was freezing in the room. Secondly the room was very tired and old. The lamp shade was dirty and when I opened the sheets of the bed I was worried but thankfully this was okay. Thirdly the bar area. We had a drink on the evening we stayed and were charged £8+, this is fine. Next day when bar finally opened I was charged £9.50 for same drinks, then next drink it was £5.80! ..the mug was also dirty
