an adequate hotel which met our needs.

no problems it was quiet , warm and functional and met our needs as an overnight accommodation close to the airport.

OK hotel

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: The on site free parking was very much welcomed & the location is ideal for the airport.
Cons: Greeting and reception
Hotel was reasonably clean & tidy and we had a good nights sleep. We checked in at reception with the security guard who was very vague when we asked questions and we struggled to understand what he was saying.

poor hotel room

I booked a superior room I would hate to think what the standard room was like The superior room carpet was dirty and lots of stains and the interior was shabby and in disrepair

Not as adveertised

Posted 16-Dec-2014
Pros: Clean and reception very pleasant
Cons: The advertised food available should be either reinstated or removed from the info in the rooms
Location: Too far from the airport to be called an 'Airport Hotel' £10 by taxi to the airport
After flying for six hours I did expect to be able to have something to eat when I arrived at the hotel but, although food is advertised as available 24/7 there was no one in the kitchen to cook and it was only 10 pm!! Consequently I had nothing to eat for 24 hours. Very disappointing

Standard facilities all round.

Cheap in cost so couldn't expect a great deal but as regular hotel users, I would expect actual hot water to shower instead of fairly hot sometimes. Also a single radiator directly underneath a massive window shelf just was not able to reach the bed in the ccentre of theroom let alone heat the whole room. But apart from that, it had all the usual things I would come to expect from a cheaper hotel.

Good value for a one night stop over

For the price the hotel was clean and the room comfortable. Good value if you are simply waiting for a flight.

Cheapish but not clean or comfy..

Posted 21-Nov-2014
Pros: Location.. At a push
Cons: Cleanliness and general decor
Location: 15 min drive to airport
Last minute booking so it wasn't that cheap.. but still not that bad Location is ok, 15 minute drive to airport Probably best thing in its favour The hotel is very dated, hasn't seen fresh paint for years..cleaning is minimal Felt dirty after the shower

Pics don't match the real thing at all.

Posted 15-Nov-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything from the building, structure, decorations, furniture, carpets and service need improving.
Location: Only good thing is that it is near Manchester Airport.
This is one of the worst hotel I have ever ended up with through expedia. Pictures do not match the real thing at all. The hotel is old, in bad shape, old torn carpets, old decos and even the non-smoking areas smell smoke. Carpet and furniture in the room have stains. Overall very poor quality.

Past it.

Posted 07-Nov-2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: Complete refit
Location: Noisy by the mainrd
Stained carpets. Very old and tired rooms. Tv not working and no freeview. As is reflected in the price
