Not the type of hotel I expected.

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: Very little. Though breakfast was oky.
Location: The receptionists attitude. The decor of the whole hotel. The lifts were dirty and not well kept.
On arrival, I was disappointed by the sad appearance of the foyer. The reception area was shabby. The receptionists not over friendly.

Convenient to airport

Posted 08-Aug-2014
Pros: Free parking.
Cons: The WiFi was not functioning. The parking spaces and approaches were so tight I was a little concerned about damaging the rental car.
The location was convenient for our early morning airport departure.

Run-down hotel

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Cleanliness and general state of repair.
Location: It is close to Manchester airport.
Run-down and not very clean hotel. Also booked room, paid in full, received email guaranteeing late check-in, and when we arrived they said they do not have a room for us as they give rooms out on first come basis.

Ok

It is called 'Airport' hotel but it is still a ride away from the airport. The restaurant is not so hot. But if you just need a bed it's doable. Room was stuffy and opening the window brought in the hiway noise.

Surprisingly good experience

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Very inexpensive for such facilities
Cons: The only negatives were that this group is a cost conscious operation and you always notice that they don't waste money 'over maintaining' the place
Location: A short walk away there are pubs and take aways
I love this hotel group because they are so quirky. It is always an experience. On this stay I must say they did very well. Check in was smooth, friendly. I got a room very close to the motorway flyover but the triple glazing was very effective and I didn't feel I needed to change rooms. I suppose you have to realise this if you book a hotel 1 minute from the motorway for convenience. The bathroom was great with plenty of hot water and very clean, as was the bed & linen which was very comfortable. I had a desk for my laptop enabling me to work on an important presentation at and a table to eat my dinner. The wifi didn't seem to work in my room which they had already informed me about and told me I could go to the lobby bar to get a good signal. However I use my 'phone for internet tethering because its more secure than using provided wifi; and I found that I got a good 4G signal. Friendly and helpful checkout took moments.

Very convenient for the airport

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Close to airport and staff were very helpful. Bar, restaurant and lobby were comfortable and food good. Also had wifi downstairs, but not in rooms. My room was very noisy, next to motorway. Bed and bath were clean but room was shabby, carpet old and missing a chair. But great value if you just need a bed for the night!

It got the job done.

Posted 05-Jul-2014
Pros: Rates and proximity to airport.
Cons: Nada
Location: There wasn't much nearby except a couple pubs and various office buildings. If you wanted to get to city centre, and had no car, a taxi is needed.
Needed a hotel near the airport for my final night of my stay in Manchester. It was good for that in respect to location. The rates were reasonable. The staff were very pleasant. Not a whole lot within a close walking distance though.

Close to the airport. The Hotel personnel friendly

Posted 22-Jun-2014
Pros: The Staff
Cons: TV needs updating
Location: close to the airport. perfect if you have an early flight.
A clean room with tv. TV could do with being updated but it worked and for the one night was adequate

Ok for a night prior to a flight

Posted 14-Jun-2014
Pros: The hotel is convenient for the airport and I got it for a cheap rate from Expedia. However, seriously consider a better hotel even if it costs more.
Stayed for one night because of an early flight. Rather tired and not in the best state. I parked in the multi-story, but all the warnings about security and risk did not make me feel confident that my car was safe. The company would do well to spend some money on improving the level of cover and ensuring that the facility was a clean, well lit and secure to give their guests more piece of mind when parking, it's not good enough to simply plaster the building with warnings and do nothing positive about it. A bit of kerb appeal by tidying up the surroundings would also help. Not an appealing venue.
