Airport hotel with great shuttle service

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Airport hotel with great shuttle service hotel rates on expedia good value. the only problem is it is too noisy to sleep with open windows. Air conditioning in all the rooms should be added. Staff ok but foreign and a few language problems.

Nice hotel close to airport

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Pros: Very close to the airport
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: We only arrived in the evening for our early flight the next day
A conveniently placed hotel for staying prior to, or after your flight. Excellent free airport shuttle service. Comfortable rooms and good food.

Clean, comfortable hotel close to airport

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Free shuttle to and from the hotel and airport terminals. Fairly cheap for its location. Clean, comfortable rooms.
Location: Close to Manchester airport, Manchester airport train station and the city of Manchester.
We only stayed here for one night but we were very impressed. This was the first time that we had stayed in a Bewley's hotel and we will hopefully stay here again. We arrive for check-in after ten pm and the hotel was very busy but not chaotic. The staff were calm, polite, well organised and very well presented and check-in was very fast and straightforward. We had drinks and late supper in the bar and the food was very reasonably priced and of very good quality. Here again, it was very busy in the bar but not in an off-putting way. The hotel is quite large and the size of the bar reflects this. There are plenty of seats, tables and booths and the bar sells a good range of snacks, sandwiches and burgers and a good choice for vegetarians. We were very pleased with the standard and quality of our room. It was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room (but no fridge). We didn't stay for breakfast but the hotel was advertising a full Irish breakfast for about ten pounds and it looked very appetizing. (September 2014). The hotel provides a free shuttle minibus to transport guests to and from the airport. I would recommend taking the hotel's phone number so you can call them when you arrive at either your terminal or at the station (although it is easy to find by Googling it). Despite being close to the airport the hotel was not affected by noise or vibration. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Disappointed

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Staff and Location
Cons: Rooms needing updated.
Great staff and collection from the airport. Very quick and prompt. Room very disappointing. Tired, dated and dirty. Arrived late so never complained as was too tired. Hairs and dirt in the bathroom. Had to clean before I could use.

Nice hotel. Convenient for the airport.

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Convenient for the airport with a reliable shuttle service.
Cons: Nothing to criticise.
Location: This is an airport hotel so guests tend not to stray far away.
The hotel was better than we expected. The room was clean and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, the dinner menu was adequate and the hotel was reasonably priced for the service provided.

expensive for what it is

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: convenient for the airport
Cons: toiletries in the rooms!!
Location: near to manchester airport
very convenient for the airport but expensive for what it is and no toiletries as all which was rather unusual when you are paying over one hundred pounds for a room and flying with hand luggage only!

Nice hotel close to airport

Posted 13-Sep-2014
It is clean and efficient. It has all that is required for a hotel near an airport. Our room was on the front. With the window open, for air, we could hear the conversations of arriving guests. With the window closed,it was too hot. The airplanes slowed down after midnight. But otherwise, it was comfortable and convenient. Although the bathroom was unventilated, the shower was great!

Hotel

Posted 13-Sep-2014
Pros: Next to airport and ease of shuttle bus
Cons: The room was uncomfortably hot. It would be good to either provide a sheet instead of duvet or a fan.
Food in the lounge was very poor but service was excellent.

Hotel very ckose to Manchester Airport

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: Facilities were acceptable.
Cons: Shuttle needs to be better organised.
Location: We were only there overnight and never had any intention of doing anything apart from stay at the hotel
We stayed overnight prior to flying out early morning back to NZ because they also offered free shuttle to airport. Unable to check in an hour early and the cynic in me thinks there was a reason for this - about 20 people also waiting in their restaurant complete with food/drinks. Staff although reasonably efficient were very unwelcoming and certainly weren't particularly friendly. Shuttle to airport was disorganised and later than we had booked.
