“QUIET AREA”

THE HOTEL AREA IS NOT TOO FAR FROM THE CITY CENTER .IT IS EASY TO GET TO ANYWHERE IN MANCHESTER BECAUSE OF THE BUSES SERVICE .THERE IS A BUS STOP OUTSIDE THE HOTEL EXACTLY .

“Not bad for the price”

Helpful staff, clean beds and clean towels but very antiquated and depressing decor - the kind of browns used by pubs to disguise effects of smoking. And reception is on first floor with no lift - not good for disabled customers like one of us. Remarkably quiet for a room facing main road near a student area. Not bad if all you need is a relatively cheap place in which to lay your head for the night. Didn't have breakfast or use any of the facilities.

“There are better hotels in the area”

I've been staying here for years. They've spent alot of money recently on the foyer/reception area, and now they're doing the ceilings in the corridors. But what they really need to do is spend some money on the rooms. The "Executive" rooms are a bit of a joke. You pay extra for this type of room and you get water leaking all over the bathroom floor; light coming through the wall from the room next door! I vowed never to stay there again, but I do because of the convenience of the location. The food is pretty good though and the general service of the staff is very good; but there are some staff in the breakfast that are always very rude and abrupt.

“Not enough attention to the details”

In my twin room, the carpet was not properly cleaned. The teacups are not properly cleaned. The bin in the bathroom is not in a perfect order. Basically there lacks a lot in terms of details.
