“Excellent hotel”

Stayed only for one night close to airport good staff and service have stayed here before and will stay again when travelling from manchester airport.

Hotel had recently been taken over by Best Western. The decor throughout was excellent. Food was very good value.

You might have trouble finding this hotel in the middle of the night because they've been having trouble with their lighting outside -- we ended up passing it 3x thinking it was a church, not the back of reception! Our stay was brief but pleasurable. Room was very clean and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were professionally staffed and maintained. The real kicker is it's only 15 minutes from the airport during rush-hour, so it's a convenient place to stay if you need to get back and forth from Manchester Airport. There's tons of good shopping in the immediate area too, which we could unfortunately not take advantage of at the late time we arrived.

Clean and comfortable setting. Other than some noise intrusion from the hallway, a great hotel at a convenient location to the Manchester Airport.

“Hotel is fine”

I read mixed reviews about the hotel. It is fine. The rooms are smaller than we are used to in the US but that is to be expected. You can not go wrong with this choice.

“Will return later in July 2008”

From the time I arrived at the Menzies Pinewood on the 9th July '08 I was looked after by the staff as good as if I was staying at a 5* hotel. They could not have done more to make my visit memorable and allowed me to check in early as I had an important meeting to attend to. It was so good that I later booked to stay on the night of the 11th July. I had the same room on both nights which was clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with coffee/tea making facilities. The biscuits were nice too. Will definitely be back as soon as I can manage.

“Good Value”

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable. It is a good place to stay if you are flying in or out of Manchester and are looking for a room at a budget price. Although it says it is only about 3 miles from the airport, it takes about 20 minutes to get there since there is not a direct route.

“A welcome overnight retreat”

Booked this hotel last minute due to overrunning bathroom works at home. Despite being a bit quick and arriving at the hotel before the Expedia confirmation, the member of staff on reception handled the situation expertly and without fuss. We must have looked a bit frazzled as we were given a free upgrade to an executive double. The dinner menu for the restuarant is small but perfectly executed, if a little pricey. Didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on that. Overall a pleasant stay
