The hotel was nice enough but no lift to the bedroom and staff didn’t assist with our luggage. I could’nt add breakfast to my booking on arrival and the pool was closed for the weekend, which was disappointing as I had planned on going for a swim during my stay.

Stayed before and after early and late flights. Shuttle bus to airport provided for a reasonable charge, parking free for actual nights stay and can be left for duration of holiday for £5 per day. Rooms clean and comfy bed but bathroom a little 'tired'. Couldn't fault breakfast. Overall, it was most certainly value for money and would use again for late/early Manchester flights.

Great location and space in the room. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a smell like old smoke in the room and the beds were extremely hard. But it was safe and I just spent one night there.

We did not stay in this property in the end as the room was uninhabitable. Not recognisable from the photos, the bed was against the wall, blood on carpet, hole in the wall and a damp smell. Towels were not big enough to wipe your face. Shower was brown stained and broken. We checked in and checked out.

Bad smell in the room, heating not working, bathroom ventilation not working and smell of damp. Gap under the door so I could hear all the people at the corridor. Food at the bar not good. Not worth the price.

Very thin walls
The walls are very thin and you can hear every word said in the room next door, opposite, above and below. Room was clean and staff friendly. Bathroom door locked itself with my stuff inside late at night, this has happened before according to other people’s reviews yet nothing has been fixed. More than enough parking and the gym is ok.

Not the best!
It’s a good thing that this was literally just a place to rest my head for a few hours. The hotel is very tired, everything needs painted or replaced. Stained carpets, chipped doorways and skirtings, bed wedged into a corner, old fashioned sliding door into the bathroom, the room just felt old, tired and unloved. If it was just the room it could be forgiven, however the corridors, restaurant, reception are all the same. Reception service was okay, however I was disappointed by service at breakfast. I took a table only to be told to move as it was “being set for Christmas dinner”. That’s the case, why was it one of the six tables set for breakfast. After I finished eating, I’d literally swallowed my last mouthful of tea when I was asked to move to reception because “we need the table for breakfast”. Not somewhere I would be happy staying for any other reason than just 4 hours sleep, and even then I thought it was overpriced because of the state of it. Disappointing!

Oh what a night
We arrival late as our flight was delayed. Had to wait as a large party was booing in. Also a lady booking a room without already booking a room. We gave our details to the chap and he told us there didn’t have any rooms. Left we could wait until there had a room about 3.00am or we could have a full refund if we waited until 10am when the manger came in. He said it was there policy if you hadn’t turn up by 11pm there would sell your room. This is a room paid for in full at the time of booking. Don’t forget this is an airport hotel. He kept saying sorry but my poor husband had to drive us home after a very long journey. I did use the hotel chat and was able to speak with a person. Helpful to a point to be fair not much he could do. There offers was a full refund or try to get us a room somewhere in the area. We was well on our way home by them so we asked for a refund. Told we would get full refund. That we would be contacted in the next 72 hour to arrange the refund. Which l paid up front and in full at the time of booking. But have to wait over 72 hour my money. So be warned

Our only problem was the hotel asked for payment, I showed them my invoice showing payment. However they wanted me to pay again and claim it back from where I booked as they hadn’t received the payment?? They also kept referring to Hotel.com and I said I booked through Expedia, very confusing, I refused to pay again and copied my invoice to them to prove payment.

Unhappy customer.
Highly disappointed. From finding hairs in the bathroom. Then the bathroom door locked it's self with some of my belongings inside the bathroom. I had to move rooms after I was left waiting for one hour from letting the staff know the situation. I was told I couldn't have my stuff untill 8am the following day when maintenance comes in. Following morning at 10am when I was to check out my items was still locked in the other room. The maintenance man had attitude telling me it was only reported yesterday I had to make him aware I was checking out and needed my stuff to which he just walked off I waited a further 20 minutes before I could leave making me late to where I was going. The outside smoking area was discussing take away box's empty cans on the benches and all over the floor.

excellent food.. My only minor whinge is the courtesy busses. There was no advice or help at the train station , your reception or on the booking form. Train line only supplied assistance to the station exit, Airline assistance was contacted but no one answered, Your reception was also contacted with no reply. Ended up getting ripped off by a taxi who charged £24 for a 5 mile journey!

Good Value hotel, breakfast was nice. Good option to use the Gym, and swimming pool for just a fiver. Rooms have irons which was handy, overall looks okay just a little worn in the rooms and carpet. You can hear everything through the walls but for the price point, it's perfect for a night or two before a meeting or a flight. Would stay again for sure.

Stayed on a Saturday night with my 5 year old daughter and was put in a room (number 22) next to a party which was very loud and went on all night. Staff didn’t care, apparently there is no manager at all after 9pm. Having rooms within a few feet of venue rooms used for parties and then putting families in them is poor and no one working in the hotel when approached cares

Better than the current star rating suggests Walls are not sound proof, that was the only issue. Totally fine for a 1 night stay before going to the airport
