“Tired and worn out, but good location”
This is not an easy hotel to like. It's certainly well placed on the sea front in St Julians, with an easy walk to lots of restaurants, the views from the front rooms are nice (can't vouch for the others), and the rooms are clean. But that's about as far as I'd go. There were lots of small things wrong - no telephone in my room, and worse, they didn't realise it even when they tried to call me! A fridge, but unplugged and nothing in it. A knackered head on a new looking shower, with a shower surround that leaked. One towel (no hand towel), a TV with three channels, all fuzzy. A hotel guide with scribbles on it and precious little info (my friend had nothing in his room). Balconies are tiny, with no furniture to sit on. No room service as you'd expect in a 3*. Worn out bedding. No tea/coffee making facilities. Don't bother with breakfast - instant coffee, UHT milk, orange squash rather than juice. The hotel has clearly been improved at some point, but it's been sloppily done. Most worrying now is that there weren't fire extinguishers in the holders on my floor! It could be a lovely place, but needs masses of work. I won't blame the staff because they did certainly try, but are clearly overworked and undertrained. I'm afraid I wouldn't stay again.
“Great Location, awful hotel!”
Hotel was in a great location and the exterior looked great. Once inside the internet was down, the lifts took forever to arrive and the breakfast was not worth getting up for. I had a cockroache in the shower and the hotel cleaning staff solved the problem by placing a can of bug spray in the room! We didn't bother to change rooms as others were complaining at reception so thought it was best to stay where we were.
“Unsurpassed value for money in Malta”
I keep raving about this hotel because I have tried so many other ones in Malta that are really rubbish, but this one is really, really good value for money. The tagline is '3 star with the mind of a 4 star', and that caption is really not lying. Since I first tried them out, I have never chosen to stay anywhere else when in Sliema/St. Julian's.
“Lovely Place. Underperforming Hotel”
Disitinctly average hotel which could be so much better. Good location but pokey rooms with camp beds. Don't upgrade to Superior Room as no different other than a square metre balcony with an air conditioning unit filling it up. For Satellite TV read BBC World. Still Malta is lovely with fantastic people.

hôtel convenable, extrêmement bien situé dans un quartier agréable, et en bord de mer, a proximité de tous les services, sur les lignes de bus pour valette et l'aéroport. Néanmoins, malgré la gentillesse et le bon acceuil, pour le pirx affiché, le petit déjeuner est décevant, et la chambre que l'on a eu ne correspondait pas à notre réservation... ("vue mer" alors qu'on était sur la rue derrière et "2 grands lits", on a eu 3 petits :( pas de préssion dans la douche et chasse d'eau des toilettes ayant besoin d'une bonne révision... sinon séjour agréable et personnel sympa.

consiglio a chiunque non ha grandi pretese e vuol spendere poco avendo a disposizione un hotel pulito al centro che permetta di muoversi con gli autobus o anche semplicemente a piedi. vicino a ristoranti e supermercato
“Hotel St. Julian's bay”
Hotel in una buona posizione, un normale 3 stelle, pulito e personale particolarmente disponibile. Siamo stati bene
“Gerne wieder, günstige Lage für mich”
Die Lichtschalter waren etwas ungünstig angeordnet (z.B. Bad und Nachttischlampen). Die Aufhängung der Duschbrause war ungeeignet weil sie sich nicht nach unten verstellen liess.
“Gute Lage”
Für die Erkundung des Nachtlebens als auch für Ausflüge ist die Lage des Hotels nicht schlecht. Sowohl Slima (Schiffstation) als auch Paceville (Nachtleben) sind innert 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Busshaltestellen befinden sich auch in der Nähe des Hotels, auch wenn die Fahrpläne nicht bekannt sind...
