Hotel seems to be fresh and newly built. Some construction work going outside in the rear side. Several restaurants are around. Good place for a quick visit to Ghadira bay and other beaches. Calm area compared to busier St Julians. Breakfast was quite standard as any other hotel. They could bring more varieties like Idly or Dosa.

BE WARNED. Building work being carried out within hotel between main building and annex. Starts at 7am with the hammering/removal of the wooden frames around the previous days concrete. Crane is directly over hotel so unless you are out all day your stay will be effected by the noise of the building works especially if you use the rooftop pool or your balcony. Breakfast was adequate but staff slow to restock so drinks dispensers & milk etc constantly running out. Quite a few school children & their associated noise, pushing of all the buttons in lifts when they got out & running around corridors plus take over of pool etc. Entertainment was in main entrance so getting in & out hotel during performances was challenging. Staff polite & friendly but unable to do anything about the noise ( suggest investing in earplugs for each room instead of the sewing kit, shoe cleaner, shower caps & toiletries)

I really wanted to like this property,as it was a pleasant check in,reception was very good and initial impressions of the hotel were very good..However the room left alot to be desired,at first glance it looked great with a pretty good cooking area with enough utensils,the bed was pretty comfortable for my liking,however the bathroom smelt musty most of the time,the shower head leaked at the bottom abit so the pressure wasnt that great,the handle on the side of the bath was a bit loose and would probably break if someone put any weight on it and the tub had visible signs of ŕepair.The main room was a good size with plenty of seating,however one of the wardrobe doors will probably fall off with the next guest as its REALLY loose,the external handle on the balcony door was loose.Entertainment wise there was like 7 maybe 8 channels on the tv and the wifi in room was horrendous by todays standards to be fair they only use the words "surf the web" with their free Internet claim but it was difficult just getting a signal in the room,it was possibly to stream a bit of netflix on a good day and then finally the housekeeping that would leave balcony door unlocked which wouldn't be an issue if you didnt share the same space with 2 other rooms!They even managed to not close my room door properly on on one day,however nothing happened and i was using the safe so i didn't make an issue of it.Anoher thing was the door to the adjoining room offered NO sound protection at all very noisy.

Very poor
Mould in bathroom, toilet flush came off when flushing, mould in shower gel on wall, noise until late from floor above, bin truck arrived at 05:00 am to empty bins and were 30 minutes making lots of noise. Thin mattress very uncomfortable.

Top place to stay.
Fabulous Hotel. Staff in all departments were so pleasant and helpful. Food was first class and a varied choice each day. Spa and pools a great addition to the facilities.

The hotel and staff we fabulous and our stay there was great...everything nearby and breakfast was a treat...Our room was bigger than expected and we had the added feature of a little hidden kitchenette with microwave oven!...idea for heating up some leftover pizza from the restaurant up the road...only issue was the bathroom has a funny smell but that was put to bed by room service proving us with some air freshener so that helped...was all done quickly too...would recommend this hotel as our stay was a pleasant one!

I booked this because it was an Expedia VIP. My previous experience of another Expedia VIP hotel was A*****. I would not rate this hotel as VIP. 1. I booked a superior suite but there was nothing superior about it aside for it was a very large room. The room facilities were just normal/average. 2. my balcony furniture was dirty and dusty. Throughout the stay it was never cleaned 3. There was building work going on next door - it caused shuddering and vibration throughout the entire building from 7.30am onwards. Neither Expedia nor the hotel alerted me to this prior to the holiday. At the hotel they offered us a 30Euros off a spa treatment which hardly compensated for the inconvenience. 4. The food is only average, for an Expedia VIP hotel I would expect more than average. 5. on-site second restaurant had the same set menu everyday - there was only one vegetarian item (unless you paid extra for items on the other menu) 6. one evening the TV didn't work but the engineer had no idea how to fix it Well, the list could go on. Otherwise, all staff were friendly and good.

Nice hotel with great dinners; advantages for VIP client does not exist; despite of ordered late check out, just after 11 o'clock woman from reception!! reminded us to leave the room (came directly to the door - it was totally unkind and unprofessional); upgraded room was not also offer; so rather simply "superior" room; many, many people in swimming pool - hotel should introduce reservations - it would be nice; but foods and staff in restaurant is perfect; despite of mentioned things, can recommend this hotel:)

This hotel is perfect, staff very helpful in front desk. Gave me bus numbers and directions and I went to best places in Malta from stops outside hotel. The spa is very good and had an amazing massage and swim in inside pool as it was cold outside, but pool on roof has an beautiful view. Breakfast had very good choices and room excellent and everywhere spotless. Would definitely recommend.

Property has all the necessary requirements, is situated in a nice village with all amenties around and close to Ghadira bay. Top floor pool is nice with beautiful view. We were on half board, and receptionist said that we have the option to choose from the Buffet restaurant, or a la Carte from Tosca restaurant. First night we tried the Buffet, second we were going to try Tosca Restaurant. When we asked the waitress at Tosca she rudely said the are fully booked, so we went to the buffet. However we passed by their Tosca Restaurant various times and there were only a few of tables full, so I doubt how true they were fully booked, I suspect they just wanted the Half Board clients to use the Buffet only

Excellent Stay
The staff really make this place. Catering, cleaning, maintenance, and front of house are all friendly, helpful and efficient. Pool and spa area are excellent. Overall, great value for money.

Take some ear plugs
Make sure you know what you are booking because a Junior Suite is drastically misnamed. EVERYTHING is an upgrade so beware. Restaurants are awful but the staff are amazing. If you have VIP access, do not expect them to honour the complimentary upgrade part. It took me 24 hours to finally get mine and it was a joke.

Me and my mum had a really great stay. On the whole it was very good. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with any questions. The only little complaint I’d make is that our room was directly above the restaurant and in the morning there was sooo much noise from about 6.30/7am. Loud screeching of chairs to set the tables up for breakfast service. The chairs aren’t heavy (we tried lifting them up) so think it would make the stay so much more pleasant if the staff lifted the chairs to move them instead of dragging them on the floor. Apart from that, all great. Thanks!

We had a great time during our stay, we check in earlier and our room is already ready for us.They clean it every day. Staff are very friendly and kind. The property is very quiet it’s a perfect place to unwind and to have a good relaxation. The management is very responsive to all my inquiries. I couldn’t take them enough. Food is good we have half board and a drink package.

It’s about a 3 star hotel. The rooms are laid out a little weird. My balcony overlooked a pit. The king bed was just two doubles pushed together. The shower head was angled in a weird direction and the tub was small. AC supposed broke down if you set below 20. Took me two elevators and long hallways to get to my room. Location was okay. Staff was nice.

Lovely staff
Lovely hotel, well placed for all amenities. Lifts very confusing though! It would help enormously if the floor number was visible when the doors open as you can’t always see it in the lift when others are in there. Would I stay here again? Yes!
