“Great for the price”

You are not staying at the Hilton over the road when you get a room here. The location is amazing and you can get into Valletta for sightseeing very easily by bus. There's a supermarket and lots of other shops nearby. Great budget accommodation and the adjoining pizza restaurant run by the same people serves up a mean dinner!

“value for money”

I stayed in the Rokna for 4 nights in February 2010 and was very pleased with this hotel. It is a standard 3 star hotel with a lift and some rooms with balconies. I was lucky enough to be given a room with a balcony. The rooms are reasonable sizes with a chair and desk and en-suite. The shower had excellent water pressure, despite appearances. The price of this hotel makes it excellent value for money as it would be perfect for backpackers as well. It is ideally situated for public transport and has an excellent restaurant as part of the hotel, which catered for a party of 10 of my family members. The maltese guests amongst our party also said that the restaurant was known by the locals for its maltese cuisine.

Dining
Use the hotel restaurant to eat in the evening as it is very tasty and very good value for money. Use the mini supermarket opposite the hotel for daytime food and drinks.
