“Nice Accommodation in Sliema!”

The New Tower Palace is a nice tourist class hotel located on Tower Road in Sliema. I had the pleasure of staying in two rooms during my stay. The Majority of the trip was a Sea View on the 2nd Floor. The room was a little on the small side, but it was clean and air conditioned. The bed was adequate. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo. There was a small balcony, offering a view of Tower Road and the sea. As this hotel is right across the street from a Cafe and a bus stop, the hotel can be a bit noisy in the early evening hours on until about 2300. If you are a light sleeper, be sure and carry earplugs with you (good advice for any hotel). The continental breakfast was on par with the other hotel of this class where i stayed a few years back, offering bread, coldcuts, cheese, cereals and fruit cocktail. You have the option of an English Breakfast at an additional charge, but you may just want to make other arrangements. A few items of note: there is a charge for TV service and Local phone use. My return flight was delayed and the nice young lady at the desk was able to set me up in a Superior Seaview on the 7th floor for my extra night. This room was much larger than the one on the lower floor, with three balconies and three twin beds. The view from up there was excellent, and it was quiet as well. In short, this hotel cannot be beat for the price, especially when considering what other hotels in the area charge for seaview rooms, and I found the staff polite and helpful.

“Not sure if I would recomend this hotel 100%”

Though it was clean, and close to the beach with a small swimming pool on the top of the hotel it seems to be rather run down and very sad hotel. The breakfast rather simple, the decore seems like going back to the 70's. If you on the bagget for two or three nights its ok for longer stay go for better standard!!!

“Clean but not spectacular”

Very clean & tidy, staff friendly but hotel is a bit tired, No tea making facilities in room, bar closed at 9pm, washbasin broken and siliconed together, bathroom door catch didn't work for example, but for all that it is worth repeating that it is spotlessly clean.

“Séjour Maltais”

Hotel bien situé entre La Valette et Paceville, au bord de la cote. Nous avons été tres bien accueilli par une receptioniste parlant un tres bon français. L hotel en lui même aurai besoin d'être raffraichi et d'être insonnorisé. L' hotel est de qualité moyenne mais confortable. Il n'y a pas de parking , mais on arrive facilement a ce garer dans la rue.

“Kann man (fast) nichts falsch machen”

Sehr schöne Lage (direkt am Meer, Nachtleben, Bars, Bushaltestelle); freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang; sauberer aber etwas kleiner Pool auf dem Dach; etwas ältere Einrichtung aber viel Marmor und insgesamt angenehm; worauf man achten muss (vor Anreise am besten nachfragen): da sich an beiden Seiten eine Straße befindet,sollte die versprochene Klima funktionieren, damit das Fenster geschlossen bleiben kann (unsere hat jedenfalls nicht gekühlt) und nach Balkon fragen, der obligatorisch sein soll (ganze zwei Zimmer im Hotel haben keinen...wir hatten eines dieser Zimmer im EG bekommen...auch die Minibar war nicht auffindbar); das Frühstück ist eben "kontinental" (einfach mal nachgooglen und es werden keine großen Erwartungen enttäuscht); alles in allem aber empfehlenswert
