“Simpel, schoon, goedkoop”

Voor wie niet per sé zit te wachten op hotelfaciliteiten is dit appartement een goed en voordelig alternatief. Een zeer simpel woonvertrek met kookhoek, goede slaapkamer en badkamer gelegen in een woonwijk vlak achter de boulevard van Sliema. Schoon en rustig gelegen maar met een bouwplaats aan de overzijde. En het internet werkt (Wifi),

Traveller's tip
Ga naar de Valetta Waterfront, een gerestaureerd stukje van de haven waar de grote passagiersschepen aanleggen. Vijf à zes aardige restaurants op de kade.

“The Mercury Residence”

Drei Nebenstraßen von der Balluta-Bay entfernt liegt die Mercury-Residence. Die Ausstattung sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist sehr gut. Wir hatten für eine Woche gebucht. Mitte der Woche wurde unser komplettes Appartment geputzt, Handtücher gewechselt und sogar unsere herumliegenden Sachen geordnet! Jeden 2. bis 3. Tag gab es frische Handtücher. Gegenüber der Residence liegt eine Baustelle, wo jedoch nicht gebaut wurde. Ich kann dieses Appartment nur empfehlen, es liegt sehr zentral, dennoch in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zu Fuß hat man nur 3 min. zur nächsten Bushaltestelle und innerhalb 10 min. ist man zu Fuß in St. Julians und Paceville.

Traveller's tip
Unbedingt einen Tagestrip zur blauen Lagune machen! Und auf keinen Fall die Schnorchelausrüstung vergessen!!!

“praktische Unterkunft für Individualurlauber”

Apartment wie versprochen, recht gepflegt und sauber, neues Bad,gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, Kommunikation mit Personal ausschließlich über E-Mail war freundlich, gute Englischkenntnisse unbedingt erforderlich, das Versprechen, den Apartmentschlüssel wegen später Anreise am Airport zu hinterlegen wurde eingehalten. Während des Aufenthalts fand kein Service statt, haben wir auch nicht erwartet, merkwürdigerweise hatte der Wasserkocher einen Eurostecker, alle Steckdosen hatten aber noch das englische Commonwealthsystem. Beachten sollte man jedoch, dass in der gesamten Depiro Street Bautätigkeiten zugange sind, viele der alten Wohnhäuser werden abgerissen und durch Apartmenthäuser ersetzt, direkt gegenüber dem Hotel befindet sich eine (derzeit stillgelegte) riesige Baugrube, baldige Bautätigkeit ist zu erwarten. Die Lage ist ansonsten top.
