“Nice Hotel - would recommend.”
Nice Hotel - would recommend. An easy hop to the Gozo ferry and bus stop v close - so easy access to rest of Island...
“Fantastic hotel, better than we expected”
The hotel exceeded our expectations, with excellent food, lovely room and great location. I cannot say enough good things about it, and would strongly recommend it.
“Fanstaic stay! Loved it!!Thanks Expedia!”
Fantastic & relasing stay! Staff couldnt be more friendlier. Always at your disposal to help. Hotel Food, Facility & spa experience was superb! I will definitely recommend ii!! Thank you Expedia for listing such good hotels at reasonable prices.!
“A great price and location, what a steal!”
My family (wife and infant son) stayed here in early Feb. with some family friends. We absolutely loved the place and found it so easily located to the rest of the island. It helps that the island is so small to begin with, but a great experience. We decided to go with B&B rather than half-board, which was a good decision. While we ended up eating at the hotel most nights anyways, it was nice to have the option to eat out at night and switch it up a bit. The only challenging thing was the car park. We had rented a van and it took us about 90 minutes to park our car due to the lambrinth catacomb like parking under the hotel. Once committed to the parking, the one-way system had about 25 turns which took 3 degree back and fourth to manouvre. It turned out to be comical and good thing the parking was free! However, the hotel had a very nice indoor pool and a fun place area next to the pizzaria for my son to tear around in. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's very affordable and a great steal, especially in the Winter months.
“Very happy”
We were very pleasantly surprised about the quality of the hotel. It had a lovely modern minimalistic design and everything was clean. We made good use of the balcony for (sunbathing) with table and seats and even had a sea view. The buffet breakfast was included, it was very good with lot's of choices. Some evenings we ate at the hotel (buffet) which was extremely good value ( we got a discount as hotel B&B guests) and also good. One night we ate out at the Palazzo Santa Rosa in Mistra Bay, which was expensive, but one of the best meals we ever had. There were nice gardens and swimming pools ( too cold to use, as we were there in February) and we made good use of the fitness center and sauna/steam room. Overall we could thoroughly recommend the hotel.
“Faultless - always a winner”
Cannot fault this hotel at all. The discription dosnt lie. Welcomed on arrival and the room was just lovely. We hadnt flown before and the staff were constantly reassuring us checking if everything was ok. We strongly reccomend the pizzeria downstairs and the 120 bar across the road, their prices are very reasonable and the food is smashing. Lovely place to visit and easy to get around malta from Milleiha. Perhaps not the most exciting place for children though and one memory you will take away is the buses - very different rules on the Maltese roads! Overall a fantastic experience.
“Best resort, lovely hotel”
I would recommend this hotel to couples and families heading for Malta, it is absolutely lovely, the rooms, the pools, the food, everything was great, bus stop just outside to explore the island. If you're looking for nightlife though go elsewhere, but if it's a quiet, relaxing holiday you're after stay here it's beautiful.
“will certainly return”
Hotel finished to a very high standard throughout, breakfasts plentiful and varied. 3 pools all lovely. Rooms comfortable, maid service excellent. We would love to go back.
“Wonderful hotel,very professional staff.”
The only problem we encountered, we you were unable to get a drink/beverage in the hotel apart from the bar by the poolside during the day.
“Very good trip”
Good place to stay, well looked after. Outdoor and indoor pool, and another one on the roof with a bar! Beautiful view onto the nearest bay from the balcony. Not too keen on bathroom with all glass doors - not see-through, might be a bit awkward. Mellieha is a nice place with village-like atmosphere, Close to the ferry going to Gozo and Comino, both worth seeing. I would definitely recommend it over the capital city if you want a quieter break away from crowds.

Area:
Mellieha, Malta: Mellieha Bay boasts the largest sandy beach in Malta, with a golden arc of gently shelving sand providing family-friendly bathing. All the usual water sports are on offer here, and there are further beaches close by. Set high on a hill above is the traditional old town, largely unaffected by the bustle below and with a very fine church. In summer the beaches are crowded and on weekends long traffic jams occur.
