"Wonderfully positioned for sightseeing in Valetta"
We went for 3 nights in November deliberately, so that we could sightsee at a cooler time of year. In the 3 days we saw most of the sights ( but the War Museum being closed was a disappointment) We also enjoyed the good standard of the restaurants.
A half day visit to Mdina, the old capital, is worth the effort and go on the public bus, only one and a half Euros for an all day ticket!
It was a pleasant experience generally. Friendly staff, very helpful in many ways including getting around, finding things and in everyway generally. The pools inside and outside were great (including the option of a warm or cold pool). Breakfast was good too. Sammy Omelettes were a winner!
Facilities and staff were everything you would expect from a five star hotel with an exceptionally good rate for the low season. There was a wide choice of eating options and although you would expect high prices in such a hotel, they were not significantly different to those in Valletta city centre e.g. Giovannis. We were warned that we may not like Malta but we found the whole week interesting. The city was clean except after a fun run on Sunday and this was quickly cleared up by the evening. The bus services were cheap and excellent.
General Manager invited all new arrivals to meet him and the staff (including backroom staff) in the bar for drinks and nibbles so they must keep in touch with what the visitor thinks.

Beautiful rooms looking over Balutta Bay with easy access to Valletta. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice pools (which we did not have time to use). Paceville within ten minutes walk - ie close enough for restaurants, far enough away to avoid noise.

"Excellent hotel easy access to sliema waterfront."
The hotel is ideally located close to Sliema shopping, Restaurants, Bus and ferry services. The roads leading to the hotel is a bit steep but managable. We were upgraded to an executive room on the 7th floor. The rooms are big, clean with bath and shower facilities. There was tea and coffee making facilities including an expresso machine. The pan asian restaurant is top class and throughly recommended.
When we arrived we were greeted with mulled wine and the news that we had been upgraded which was a wonderful start to our holiday. The hotel itself was decorated well, modern and clean but with nice individual touches in the rooms. The breakfast was good with cooked and continental options and the coffee was something to look forward to every morning. We had a lovely view from our balcony which added to the enjoyment of our stay. The hotel is located on the prettiest bay in the area which is charming during the day and surrounded by good restaurants and bars for going out in the evening. Most importantly the staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted somewhere nice and quiet with a view. That is exactly what I got. First night someone woke me up, but as soon as I told the staff at the reception they have sorted it out and there were no noise afterwards. Staff at SPA are extremley welcoming and lovely. The girls are fantastic, especially Tatjana and Victoria. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I was glad I did not go all inclusive as managed to go out in the evening to eat at different place every time. Its only a short walk to the centar and the view was amazing. I would like to return again, already been recommending this place to all my family and friends.
We had a lovely time in Bella Vista; the staff were really friendly. We stayed in one of the Bella Vista suites and it was very spacious, clean and the air conditioning was perfect in the middle of July! We had a lovely view from our balcony, the breakfast had lots of choice and the bus stop outside was very handy for getting around the island without any trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel as considering the price I paid it exceeded my expectations greatly. Overall, a lovely hotel.
