“Not impressed - you have what you pay....”

Friendly staff and good location. Very close to the terminus bus where you can take a bus to go anywhere on the island. One hour by bus to Valletta and 30 to 40 minutes to St. Julian's Bay where you will find night clubs and pubs in a area called Paceville. The only inconvenient is that buses stop running at 9pm and then you will need a cab to get back to hotel (€20-€25 from St. Julian's Bay to Qawra). I recommend the day trip to Gozo and Comino, only €10. The day trip to Sicily is also interesting. There is a travel agent just around the corner and you can book day outs, cars, etc. Malta is beautiful and local people are very friendly. Good food and weather. We couldn't take the boat to Blue Grotto, the sea was really rough. So I guess we have to go back there :)

St. Paul's Bay, Malta: The adjoining resorts of Qawra and Bugibba are set on the large St Paul’s Bay, where St Paul was allegedly shipwrecked. Both resorts were purpose-built in the 1980s.
